they will over charge you and hold your car ransom. they will talk diry o you and tell you there is nothing you can do but pay
Took my 380SL in for a prepurchase inspection and was very impressed. I met with the mechanic personally and we went over the long and detailed list of each item he checked. He offered an in depth... explanation of each item along with his recommendations. The location is very convenient if you're downtown and they drove me to and picked me up from the office while the car was in the shop.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I cannot reccomend this place for Mercedes service. Paid nearly $150 for an oil change then got high pressure scare tactics to add more and more repairs on. I ran quick and left feeling I was scammed big time. update-its official I was scammed. Took it to another mechanic safely I might add despite dire their predictions. First he said there was little oil in the car and that the oil filters etc had definetly not been changed. Then he carefully went over the car and found one thing that did need to be fixed not the long list of things they said required fixing that would have cost thousands of dollars. The car would not have worked if that part had broken but that was all. The car was not as they put it unsafe to even drive. There was nothing warranting their high pressure scare tactics.

I would not recommend taking your car to Austrian Motors. The service department was unable to diagnose an electrical problem, which I brought to their attention on two separate occasions. After providing me with what they thought was a solution (mind you this solution would have cost an additional $500)... a second opinion made me really second guess Austrians Motors' ability to actually fix the problem. When I questioned them about this they in fact indicated that they did not have the proper equiptment to take care of the problem and that I should go to a dealer. So not only did they waste my time in not solving the problem but they charged me $100 for basically a bad diagnostic. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend Austrian Motors to anyone who needs to service a Mercedes.

If you have a Mercedes, Austrian Motors will take care of it for you. They perform regular maintenance service, as well as a thorough review of you vehicle, and will notify you promptly of needed repairs. Their location is also convenient if you work Downtown or Midtown.
