Sorry - won't be back - hair dresser was off - seemed distracted with personal issues - didn't get the cut I wanted, the cut I did get was uneven, Miss strands of hair in color- And asked about product but never offered when I paid. Also chairs in waiting area - well they are so short ou feel like your sitting on the floor. -

I moved metro Atlanta from South Florida two years ago in July. When I began my salon search,I was referred to several different salons by friends and neighbors,but after trying them all I still had not found a salon that offered all that I was used to and looking for! After a particularly bad experience at another salon, I noticed Avanti from the road and decided to try my luck (at this point I figured it couldn't get any worse). When I walked through the door, the decor of the salon was hip and contemporary like something you'd see in a more city area. I had to ask myself "Am I really in Acworth?" The front desk staff was very friendly and encouraging! Fortunately, they were able to accommidate me that day with Autumn fixing my color ,and Brett taking care of my cut. The results were outstanding! My hair looks the best it has in a very very long time, and probably ever! I recommend this salon to anyone, and will definately be back!! Thank you so much I love my hair!!

If you have a busy schedule, I do not think this is the salon for you. I wanted to find a salon closer to home, as opposed to driving to Atlanta. I was referred to Paige, the owner. The person that referred me said she did do a nice job, but was not always dependable, and she was correct. She canceled on me last minute on 2 out of 3 appointments. In her defense, she did put me with another stylist in both instances, and he did fine. In one instance, she had her assistant call me approximately 45 minutes prior to my appointment to say she could not make it because she had just found out that she had to move (which I find it unusual that she did not realize this at least 24 hours in advance), and the second time her assistant called 3 hours before the appointment and told me she was triple booked. However; when I got there, I was told a different story by a staff member (i.e., that she wanted to leave early for the weekend). When I arrived, she was just leaving for the day, and did not have another client (again, according to staff). The salon is nice, as are the staff. However; as I do like to have a regular stylist, and due to my busy schedule, require someone that is reliable, it just was not for me.
