You can't go wrong with this place. I have been going for a few years and getting my hair cut by Jim. The salon atmosphere is upbeat and well maintained and you get a great cut for a very reasonable rate.

I cannot believe the price Axiom charges for a haircut. I feel like i am stealing from them every time i get a cut. Axiom delivers van micheal salon results at a fraction of the cost. The one bad review on here is about having to wait.....and yes, i have waited an hour before to get a cut, BUT BELIEVE ME it is well worth the wait!!! David is the MAN!! but the rest are extremely talented stylists as well

This place is fantastic. I've been going to Andy now for over three years and each time he cuts my hair, I am truly satisfied. He is very meticulous and loves what he does and that shows. Every other stylist at Axiom is also very nice! Yes, the salon says "for men", but to all you women with short hair, like me, take yourself in there and you won't be disappointed!

I work in public safety and take pride in my appearance when in uniform. Its getting harder and harder to find a shop, whether it be a "barbershop" or a "sadiddy" salon where the stylists actually know how to use a set of clippers for a good close military style haircut. Not the case @ Axiom! I've been going to these guys since I moved to the area in 2006 and I won't go anywhere else in the city. I tried a few other places (at 2 and 3 times the price) before I found Axiom by chance one day and each time I had to touch up my own hair with my clippers when I got home. I've not had to do that yet when I get home from Axiom. I don't find it necessary to ask for a specific stylist when I go in, they're all awesome, and have as much personality as they do talent. I highly recommend these guys...if you get the chance go during the middle of the week, they're getting more and more popular on saturdays! Ok, maybe one improvement... 80 year old Italian barber from New York to tell war stories ;) that's all I could think to add! Seriously!

I have been a client of stylist John for nearly 3 years now. John is great, kind and considerate and treats his clients to great haircuts every time. I found the shop while visiting a local bookshop in midtown. My stylist of the past 7 years was relocating to Palm Springs so I needed to find a new place. I tried out Axiom for my next cut and I was SOLD! The price is great and service impeccable. Yes, the wait can be long some times, however if you get there first thing when they open at 10am (M-F) or 9am on Saturday, this is best. Try not to go to the salon during peak times like right after work or before the weekend (Friday), if you do, be ready to wait. But the wait is worth it. Keep it up guys!

After putting my name down on the waiting list with one person ahead of me, I found myself waiting nearly an hour. Guess there is a rule that when one of the "boys" comes in they move ahead of waiting customers. This happened several times. I finally left, the other guy ahead of me was just getting called. So, I suggest you not visit if you have been made a secret member of the club.

We at Axiom would like to sincerely apologize for your experience. We ask our stylist to give every customer an estimate of their wait time when they check in, but when things get really busy, they are not always able to do this. We have a policy at Axiom that people can call ahead when they are on their way to the shop, and we will put their name on the list. Most likely what happened was several people were signed in ahead of you, but they were not in the shop. They either called ahead or signed in earlier and left to come back later. We are working to reduce the confusion and the wait time at Axiom by hiring a receptionist during peak hours and expanding the shop to accomodate more stylist. We hope that you will consider trying us again in the future.
My husband tried many area stylists before finding Axiom. He was thrilled with his cut (and so was I) He observed that each stylist was meticulous with every stray hair on the shorter cuts to make it look perfect. Reasonable prices too!
