They fixed my pool for less than they quoted to do the work. Made my day. I took a star away on service because they were late for the appointment, but they called - so that is being picking. Will use again.

We hired B&L to look after our pool on a weekly basis while we were away from home for a year. Initially, we were pleased with the service level, but, when we returned we noticed that the pool equipment they claimed to have repaired (and which we were charged for) was still not working properly. They were not willing to make it right and claimed the problem was not under warranty. This was a frustrating response in addition to the fact that THEY didn't realize the equipment failure themselves.
Moreover, we believe the technician did not clean the pool every week and we were paying for him to do so. This is difficult to prove, but the week we returned we did not see or hear him and the pool looked untouched. There was also an odd amount of debris in the filter. I feel that our situation was taken advantage of.
Needless to say, we canceled our service and took our equipment in to another pool company and had the problem fixed for a nominal fee.

Pool pump stopped working - in the past we have had several different companies come out. I hit the yellow pages & called B & L, my service tech Rich fixed the problem quickly & the cost was in-line with what I expected, so I asked him to clean the system. The best part - he informed me of issues with my pool that could cause major problems in the future, I decided to fix the issues now. Yes, I ended up with a bill more than what I had expected but by him taking the time to let me know what he felt needed to be done & giving me that choice in the long run I most likely saved money. I would recommend B&L Pools to anybody who knows the value of maintenance.

After contacting B&L Pools 3 times over a 2 week period without so much as a return call, we contacted 2 other pool repair companies.

These companies gave us free estimates within 1-2 days. B&L charged us $70 just for the assessment of the situation of which they already knew everything.

We had AAA Pools respond and make the repair the next day at a very fair price.

10 days later we are still in discussions with B&L Pools over the cost of the service charge they want us to pay even though they never did any work and for which we never had a signed contract!

I highly recommend them for all pool repairs. Steve recently worked on both the pool pump and the pool timer. He was professional, made recommendations, and completely everything in a timely manner. Great service for a great price.
