Maybe I got lucky in the past when working with other local mechanics in the city where I previously lived and had unrealistic expectations. I brought my car in for service and when I got it back it still had the same noise as when I had brought it in minus the check engine. I drove my car over and dropped it off where I was asked if I had an appointment. I would just assume you wouldn't need to make another appointment for a redo seeing as how the customer has been inconvenienced as well as the shop. There wasn't even an apology at all for the inconvenience. In any case the shop is good at getting things done fast and they didn't charge me for the redo, but I wonder if the speed is at the expense of quality. On a side note 3-4 weeks out my check engine light is back on...not sure if it's related, but not looking forward to shelling out more cash to slap it on their diagnostic machine. As a side note they force you to use their machine even if you get it checked by autozone, sears or another free engine check place this is basically 100 bucks out of your pocket just to plug the thing in. Might be back in a pinch as they seem much more organized and don't lie as you would expect from chain stores like Pep Boys, Monro, etc.

I have been taking my car to B&M for 10 years. They offer to find lower cost parts for me (like used) and are honest. They are not like a lot of mechanics who charge for anything and everything. Employees are very helpful and honest. They drove me to work too!
