Beautiful! My new Benseron POS terminal with the newest software (called Bevo if your looking) was just turned on today, and it is beautiful! New colors, cleaner screen (less stuff on the screen) and so far as I can tell (only played around on it for about a half hour so far) is easier to use and makes more sense. I got use to the old system so it will take some adjustment, but not much I'm guessing. I don't use any of their other options as I'm not big enough to need them, just a small café. They really pushed for me to add the ipad, but I'm just not feeling I really need it. Would probably love it, looks good for sure, but just not in the position for the expense right now. Get the extra tech support, because with any system you're going to need it, its a computer, stuff just happens and its never at a good time.

I wanted to give a shout out to my POS company Benseron, as I just received the newest software they've been designing on the new iPad I ordered (my first iPad). Looking forward to being able to accept payment at the table and hopefully seeing it save staff time from not having to wait, lined up at the main terminal. It sends the order instantly (wireless? Don't know, don't care) to the kitchen hopefully eliminating the written errors and time delays we've had. Benseron has been a great support to have for my first try at a restaurant, I needed a lot of help in learning (never been a fan of computers- I just use them out of necessity) and they were very patient. Lucky I've never had a major tech issue (knock on wood- been with them for just over 2 years now), just questions on how to create specific reports, etc. Did have a receipt printer die, but they just overnighted a new one. Like I said, I do food, not computers, so I'm not sure I'll recognize all the improvements. If it really works like I'm hoping, I will order more- my staff says they use iPads already anyway, so why not go with this... we shall see. Feels like Christmas regardless, new year, new me, only "cooler" they say... Christine NY, NY
