I saw Dr. Babcock for cosmetic purposes and found her and her staff to be incredibly caring and kind. She walked me through the whole procedure and answered any questions I had. She even had me come back two weeks later to be sure I was happy with the treatment for no extra cost to me! Great results and great doctor. I recommend her to all of my friends and family. Thank you Dr. Babcock!

I am a physician who fell pray to a Botox GroupOn. I know, how stupid. When I ended up looking like Dr. Spock I panicked and asked all my friends what to do. They said goto Dr. Babcock. I did and she made me look beautiful. That was 3 years ago. Since then she has helped me with my acne. I know I can write my own scripts but I really like her expertise in picking what is best for me. Since then I have sent all of my patients with dermatologic issues to her. They have been very happy with her care. So if you are looking for a through dermatologist who also can do cosmetics, Dr. Babcock is the doctor for you.

Pushing her own products in the office- runs the place like it's a business, not like it's a doctors office. Looked up similar products online that she tried to sell me in office (glycolic peel). You can get far better quality with a higher percentage of active ingredients online for half the price (you don't need a dermo to write you the rx for these products). She has posters on the wall "Restaline injections 30% off this week only..." etc. She pushed antibiotics and blood pressure meds on me for acne... my blood pressure has never been higher than 120/80 so it's awful that she'd push such a serious medication on me for acne. Nothing helped that she gave me. I finally looked up some holistic remedies after I'd wasted about $500 at Babcock. Started taking zinc pills and probiotics and my skin has never been clearer. She is a hoax pushing big pharma potions that don't work. Her office staff also tried to double charge me. Spare yourself (and your wallet) and go somewhere else.

Dear EnpoweredCustomer,I am the office manager at Babcock Dermatology. We pride ourselves on good medical care and service to our patients. Clearly you felt you did not receive that. In reading what you wrote and talking to Dr. Babcock, we would like to respond to your complaints. Yes, we carry products in the office which have all been tested and shown to work. We also take back any product no matter what, as Dr. Babcock wants all patients to be satisfied. The blood pressure medication you refer to is spironolactone which is used by many dermatologists to successfully control acne. It has been a wonder drug for many of our patients. Dr. Babcock does not consult or take money from any pharmaceutical company. She receives no money or any other benefit from Rx medication. Many patients come to us after trying over the counter and herbal remedies which have not worked. In these cases prescription medications are needed. If we did double charge you, it was not intentional but human error. I am sorry for that. Sincerely, Gail L.
Never ever go to this place. Here are some FUN FACTS: First my biopsy got infected and I had to get on antibiotics. Second when they took out my stitches they some how transfered POISON IVY to the middle of my back. They said I had an allergy to the bandage, however, when I went to the DR two days later I had to get a steroid shot and a heavy steroid prescription to clear up the transfered poison ivy. I called to ask them pay for my extra expenses which included the doctor bill and steroid medication and they refused and were extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. WORST PLACE EVER.. See photos below of what happened with just a simple biopsy when you go to this place..

Dear "A", I remember you and your surgery well. The photos you posted are images of contact dermatitis. This is a result of an allergy or irritation to the bandage or a topical antibiotic such as neosporin. It does look similar to poison ivy so I can understand your confusion. It is treated with a topical steroid cream which typically clears it in 2-3 days. I wish you would have come back to see me so I could have discussed this with you in person. I am truly sorry you had a side effect after your biopsy. Sincerely, Melissa Babcock
Just had a great appointment with Dr. Babcock. I really like her office and staff. I went to her after my primary care doc gave me her name and I have been going for the past few years. I highly recommend her. Sarah Jones

Dr. Babcock is one of the best dermatologists I have ever been too. Things I like: 1. considerate that I did not have insurance. 2. Had good results. 3. Very easy to talk to. 4. Easy and free parking. Thinks I did not like: 1. Had to wait over an hour after my appointment time.

My initial treatment with Dr. Babcock left me with the impression that she had never seen an african american before. I went in for a total skin examination and for a consultation for hair loss. She never touched me as far as I can remember treating me as if I was a second class citizen. The consult lasted less than 5 minutes. When I recieved an EOB from my Insurance Company her bill was over $300. I would never recommend her to anyone not even by dog. May she should think about her patients feelings

I was deeply saddened to hear about your comments and concerns. I have never been accused of treating people differently due to race or financial background, and I sincerely apologize if I offended you in any way. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you in person to discuss your concerns at any time. Melissa Babcock, M.D.
I have been going to Dr. Babcock since she opened and she is the best. Her whole staff is also fantastic. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone and i do. Greg Smith

I have seen Dr. Babcock over the last 2 years for regular skin checks. I can say she saved my life. I had a mole that she removed and it was very bad- just before melanoma. I never saw it because it was on my butt. Thankfully she looks me over real good on each visit. Usually I only wait 15 min for her. One time I did have to wait over 45 min and she apologized to me. Which I thought was nice. I am very happy with the service and I have sent many family and friends who love her. She's a keeper in my book!!

I just tried Botox, well actually Dysport, for the first time. I LOVE it! I got it done 2 months ago with Dr. Babcock. It has really made me look younger. What I loved about Dr. Babcock is she really looked at my face and asked me what I wanted to improve. After the treatment she made me come back to check her work. I really liked that about her that she cares to make sure it looked good. She thought I needed a little extra and did not charge me. I will certainly be going back to Dr. Babcock!

I have several skin problems. One spot on my arm always concerned me. Two other dermatologists told me it was just eczema and I should stop worrying about it. I went to Dr. Babcock for a skin check. I didn't even bring up the spot as I was discouraged from before. SHE noticed it. She told me the spot was not typical but in her experience very concerning for skin cancer. She was right! It was skin cancer. She did a great job on the surgery removing it. I am still mad at those other doctors for not discovering it. Thanks Dr. Babcock! You are the best!

I came to Dr. Babcock for some acne issues, product recommendations and the chemical peel special. Her staff is wonderful and competent. She is a fine doctor, but as usual very busy and since my issue isn't that important, I think she saw me for 10 min and asked very few questions. The chemical peels are worth the $$ and the nurse who administers them is very nice and quick. All in all I would recommend this office, but I didn't find it to be outstanding. I am going to keep her as my Dr. as I feel I was given the same treatment by my other Derm.

There is no question Dr. Babcock is a talented physician, however I would like to share my experience of her talent with a cosmetic procedure. I recently had a filler injected in my face. I am 57 years old and had loss of volume in my cheeks and nasa-labial fold lines. This was an easy process. My results look great. I look completely natural and refreshed. She placed the product to retore what was lost, but not overdone or artificial. My face has a very healthy look, and I have received many compliments. I am happy the product will last a long time, and much cheaper than surgery. Thank you Dr. Babcock.

Saw Dr. Babcock for "rosacea". She gave me metrogel and recommended some of her office dispensed products, and sent me on my way. Later my facial rash was diagnosed as lupus. Very disappointed that a dermatologist would have missed this diagnosis, when it was so obvious to the next dermatologist I saw.

I was referred to Dr. Babcock by my family doctor after she found a spot on my back that was concerning. I live far away and was happy that she was able to see me the same day. I was really nervous about the possibility of having skin cancer, but she and her staff made me feel at ease. Dr. Babcock is very friendly and professional and so are her medical assistants. She checked all of my spots for skin cancer and luckily found nothing. It was the most thorough skin check I have ever received. She explained things in a way that I could understand them and spent some time educating me on things I can do to prevent skin damage and early signs of aging. Since I have a lot of moles, she suggested I take pictures of my skin to watch for changes, which I thought was a great idea! I would definitely recommend her to all of my friends and family. Actually, I have already sent my husband and my mother to her and they were pleased as well. If you are looking for a great dermatologist, you must go see Dr. Babcock!
