This year, Babies R Us changed their return policy to limit returns. Unfortunately, if you've just had a child, sometimes things get misplaced. I had something that was on my registry and was their house brand that I needed to return. It even had the Babies R Us sticker on it but when I went into the store, the clerk refused to return it. So I went home and looked for the receipt. I found it but it was a couple of days past their new return timeframe. I went to the store again and this time, a manager said she would give me a store credit this time only. I consider their return policy pretty draconian. If you have a receipt, you should be able to return something in a reasonable time frame and if you don't and it's the store brand but an item they currently sell and it's in perfect condition, why not take it back? With several children, many families are likely to be repeat customers. The selection in the store is great and really there's no place better for a baby registry but save those receipts and the hassle by determining quickly if the item is a keeper and if not, return it fast.
