Backyard Hardscapes

We had a large railroad timber retaining wall that needed replacing – since this was not a cheap project, we spoke with a lot of hardscape contractors. Backyard Hardscapes offered a creative solution at a reasonable price. They also were very easy to work with as they were flexible to get the work done in 1 week that was convenient for us. The foreman, Carlos, was very nice and explained everything during the project. As with any major project, there were a few little issues along the way but Backyard Hardscapes took care of them quickly. I would definitely recommend them and will reach out to them for additional work when we get around to making some landscape changes.

Backyard Hardscapes came up with a plan for my drainage problems, and they did it for a reasonable price. Also, they were very attentive to my concerns and fulfilled every request I made of them. In the future, I will definitely use Backyard Hardscapes for drainage problems, retaining walls, stonework, and any other outdoor project that requires a professional.

Received several quotes to install retaining walls in front yard. Selected Backyard Hardscapes based on competitive pricing, creative ideas, and Kudzu reviews. Enjoyed working with Michele and her crew. Very very pleased with the results. According to a neighbor "yard was transformed from one of worst to the best". We would definitely use BH again!

but we had to hire another company to correct the problems that we were left with from a June 2007 project. Some of the pavers by a gate were laid so that a large pool of water collected after a rain. I contacted Michelle and she said they would send someone out to fix the problem, but they never did. Other pavers for a sidewalk had very uneven cutsthere are many other problems. Their price was very good, but with the cost of the repairs, I wish I had used another company to begin with....

Wow!! I'm so glad I found Backyard Hardscapes. They literally transformed my back yard from an erosion riddled wreck to a mountain retreat! The dry creek bed looks amazing. They started RIGHT when they said they would and completely finished right on time. Patrick and Michele were a pleasure to work with and did exactly what I had envisioned for my yard. I couldn't be happier. A super value for the money. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to improve their yard.
