This is some really, really amazing Mexican INSPIRED food. It's not the real deal but it's tasty. If Chipotle, and Qudoba's were in a bar room brawl with Bajio; Bajio would stand victorious. They have apple flavored soda on tap; the Mexican Pizza is pretty amazing. The sour cream is even flavored this is good attention to detail and most definitely your gringo Mexican food joint - . Just go and eat you will enjoy it!

Thanks for the great review! We especially like the comment about the bar room brawl! Just wanted to let you know that, while Bajio Mexican food is not your typical Mexican food, it is absolutely authentic. It comes from the Bajio region of Central Mexico. The style of that particular region specializes in cooking with fruits and vegetables for a lighter, sweeter fare. In fact, not only is our food authentic, we employ en entire town of over 200 people in the Bajio region to make all of our decor (from the copper pots to the talevera tile to the hand-carved wood trim!)
I have tried several different items on the menu here but the only thing I thought was halfway decent was the tortilla soup. All the meat had a very strange taste, almost sweet. Needless to say, I won't be back again.

The food is great, the staff is friendly and the setting is what you would expect. The only problem that I have is that I work almost the exact same hours that they are open, so I can only go on my days off!

I would rate this as my favorite place to get Mexican food. The prices are good. The servings are large, but not obscene. Each dish is made right in front of you. There are many ways to personalize your meal. No "one size fits all" here. A must try!
