Instrument repair technician Soell Lugo is the best. Somehow I bent a key on my clarinet so the pad didn't seat right and some notes wouldn't play. He fixed that, plus a few other things I hadn't... noticed, and WOW is it better! Fast personal service at fair pricing is tough to come by these days, but Band Room delivers. Amazing teachers, great live music, professional, reasonable prices and excellent service! The Band Room gets the highest ratings from us. Our daughter takes lessons there and firends recommended it. We recommend it too!

I did not like their customer service at all. I called there on Friday and spoke to the owner (the employees said that's the only man i could have spoke to, so I'm not sure) Anyway, he said we could come in Sat. b/w 9 & 4 to exchange to instrument .I arrived at about 3:30 on Sat. and a girl right away says we have to have approval from the people you make payment to didn't even ask to see my paperwork, and said that if they weren't in, then there's nothing they could do that day. said they could deliver to the school. I had explained to the man I spoke with Friday that I specifically was coming in on Sat. so that my son wouldn't have to wait till Wed. so he wouldn't get further behind on the trumpet. He never once said it would require verification and that I should get there at a specific time. So another girl is at a desk right there using the phone to call this company (which was closed) They said someone was online who could approve the transaction (she was referring to the computer right there). The girl then says he says ""no"" he doesn't do approvals if he's not there. So the same girl then says out loud with my three kids standing there ( my kids are 16, 11 & 4). ""He's a f***ing liar."" I'm sorry this is a long story but I'm furious with that company. FINALLY they ask to see my paperwork (that I had offered them since the beginning) at which time they saw that I hadn't even made a payment yet so I didn't need ""approval"". Then the proceeded to say all they had were new trumpets and the monthly fee would be higher than the clarinet. To which I told them the man on Fri. had said they would be the same price (b/c I did ask) and never did he say they only had new trumpets. So anyway, we finally got the trumpet for the same price as the clarinet. But it was such and unprofessional experience and hassle that I never want to deal with them again. Because the boss was very cut and dry on the phone also on Friday, not friendly or pleasant.
