My father fell and went to this ER. The ER Dr. told my Mom that everything was okay and that there are no broken bones. The nurse said that she was getting ready to leave and could my mom sign these papers. We come to find out later, as my dad was neglected laying in cold urine, that those were discharge papers. Additionally, they were not able to give him any pain relief as we were preparing to transport him to an assised living facility. Outrageous! Later when we read the reports we learned that my Dad had possibly fractured his ribs and needed an MRI to be sure, they found cancer in his left hip and his left lung was partially collapsed. The nurse who took over for the previous shift, did all that she could do, but her hands were tied as he was already discharged. I had a similar experience at another banner hostpial with my 17 year old son with kidney failure. Never trust your love ones with a Banner ER Dr.

Once you get into the hospital, everything is fine. It is getting out of the ER that is the problem. My husband has been there and also my mother-in-law. We have always gotten good care there.

Great hospital, I had excellent care there. The only downfall in this hospital is the ER which has an average waiting time of approximately 6 to 12 hours. They're simply overwhelmed.
