Bardi Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

After reading reviews here, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Bardi Maintenance Agreement. They were about $50-$70 more expensive per year than some others I reviewed, but they had the best reviews on Kudzu and are rated A+ by BBB. I had the day off from work today so I scheduled them early (7-8am). The scheduler told me that the technician would call before coming, which they didn't, but Adam showed up as scheduled at 7:45am. He looked at each of the three systems and made recommendations on each unit. We ended up having a safety/shut-off monitor installed on the upstairs unit, which apparently should've already been there. We also had to have more coolant put in one of the newer units as the unit wasn't properly charged when it was put in 1.5 years ago by another company. We declined the filters at over $70 each as we always purchase our own at less cost. Adam was very polite, wore shoe coverings, and didn't create a mess for me to clean up on my day off. He made sure that my husband (via phone) and I understood everything he was doing. He was gone in under two hours. As someone who doesn't like to spend her day off dealing with household maintenance, Bardi made it pretty painless. They showed up on time and got the job done in an efficient manner.

I wanted to pass along my thoughts about the visit to our house by Chad yesterday. First off, let me say I pleasantly impressed by the level of professionalism and response by Bardi in general. I received a call from your dispatcher on Sunday (surprise #1) and Chad was scheduled to come out between 7:00 and 8:00 on Monday morning. Chad called around 6:45 to let me know he was 15 minutes away (surprise #2). He was very personable and looked at each component of the system, asking me questions all along the way. He diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes after opening up the condensor. It was a bad capacitor. He gave me a rough price on it and when he back to his truck, he pulled out the price book (surprise #3). We talked about what else we needed to do and signed up for the Bardi's maintenance plan. Chad also replaced the filter, checked the system and cleaned the condensor (His favorite thing to do).

Total time: 75 minutes.

To say we happy with the service received would be an understatement.

I switched to Bardi based on other reviews, and was very happy with the experience. First up was the A/C service -- and they were able to come a day earlier than originally planned. Adam was great, and explained everything that needed to be done. Turned out I bought a new unit (mine was 20 years old), and he made the experience as painless as possible. Everyone at Bardi that I have dealt with has been polite, personable, and extremely helpful.

Thank you Bardi Heating & Air, for coming out quickly to work on our a/c leak. Adam, was very thorough and identified the problem right away. He had everything fixed within just a couple of hours. Very proficient. Thanks again Bardi team for such great service.

Santos Cruz was my service technician and from the minute he walked in he was very friendly and nice. I had taken advantage of a Kudzu deal to get my heater/ac checked and he went through both thoroughly.
