I am absolutely thrilled that my husband and I sought assistance from Tom Zebrowitz! He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. We have 2 Beagles that were simply out of control. Tom took the time to understand our dogs as well as our needs and issues. He then instructed our family on how to demonstrate proper leadership and guidance. The specific advice and methods Tom equipped us with are outstanding. Our Beagles used to drag us around the neighborhood, pulling with their leashes. I could not believe how quickly Tom's techniques had our dogs walking calmly beside us. Our dogs have responded so well to the training techniques - it's amazing! We are so thankful to Tom for making our home life so much easier and happier!!!

We contacted Tom to help with a foster who had some aggression problems, in one visit we were on the way to get him adopted! As a bonus at the same time Tom had our pack of 6 dogs sitting patiently to go outside and there's no more rushing the door when the doorbell rings. We highly recommend Bark Busters and Tom.

After adopting Georgia, a sweet seven year old, 75 pound Labrador retriever who needed instruction in greeting guests at the door, leash walking, and other obedience-required situations, we were looking for an experienced trainer who would come to our home and help with an effective, non-punitive approach. Our vet recommended Tom Zebrowitz, and we could not be more pleased!! As a part of the training process, Tom shared extremely helpful information that helped us better understand dogs and pack behavior, as well as potential issues related to a larger dog (our previous dogs were much smaller breeds). He did an outstanding job of explaining and demonstrating the training techniques in a very clear manner that we could follow and practice. With Tom's guidance and encouragement, we saw amazing improvement by the end of the 3 hour training session! We've continued to practice each day, using the helpful calendar with reminders that he created for us. Georgia is doing beautifully, and we know we couldn't have had this much success without Tom---we give him our highest recommendation!!

We can never express how much we appreciate Tom's knowledge and professionalism in every aspect of Hank's training, and ours. What a difference Tom made in our lives. That may seem overly dramatic but it's not to us. We have never had a dog like Hank that was so hard to communicate what we wanted and expected from him. We were always in bad moods because he was biting, jumping and physically hurting us. Even though he was playing when he would bite it was still physically painful and very upsetting. We went through a lot of band-aids before finding Tom. No matter what we did or tried to do to communicate with him nothing worked. We felt Hank was a good sweet dog and we love him dearly but we were beginning to think that we could not handle him. Thank you for showing us how and for saving us and him from having to find him somewhere else to live. I don't think I could have ever forgiven myself for letting him go. Hank is a work in progress, but is showing so much improvement each day as we work through the training schedule Tom left us, now we know how to do the training on our own. I guess I should say we are all a work in progress, but now we are able to do it the correct way thanks to Tom. I find it comforting to know that if we need more help Tom will be there and he will be able to show us the way to go. Tom thanks so much again for everything. It brings tears to my eyes to think what might have happened if we had not found you.

We have never cared for a dog or any pet for that matter. We called three vet offices in the area for a trainer referral, and all three (swear all three) recommended Tom Zebrowitz with Bark Busters. Tom was honest about expectations, options and costs. We had no idea what to do, but we knew we were desperate for help with our constantly barking, crying (screaming), biting, and jumping puppy. Tom came to our home, spent hours with us and made sure we were confident of what we had learned before he left. He didn't offer magic fixes or sell us long expensive plans. Tom actually talked me out of a longer plan and told me to give our training some time before committing. Extremely professional and excellent trainer. I would recommend Tom Zebrowitz without question. I can honestly say that I called the same vet offices to recommend Tom the very next day.

I had a lot of doubt before Tom visited us to work with our two Labradors, including a 7-month-old extremely hyper puppy. I did not think it would be possible to calm the dogs down and get them to act civilized. But in less than 3 hours he had both dogs behaving in ways we never imagined would be possible. The style is very unique but it works and that is all that matters. Looks like we will be able to regain control of our home once again. Thanks Tom!!! Eddie and Teri Capparucci

I have two adorable small dogs, Holly and Max, both adopted. I was at my wits end due to barking and aggressive behavior. I asked the vet for recommendation, they recommended Bark Busters. Tom Zebrowitz came out and after 3 hours, they had a complete change in behavior. I highly recommend Tom. He was professional and taught me how to handle my dogs. It was not dog training, it was people training. I am so much happier with my little dogs and they are happier too. It was so much easier than I ever thought. It was well worth the fee.

Tom came to our house to help us with our 3 year old Pitbull and our new 9 month old Boxer mix who we adopted from the Humane Society. We would describe our dogs to our friends as our pretty well behaved teenager and our juvenile delinquent to explain away the puppy's negative behavior that we could not get figure out how to guide. In 4 hours, Tom taught us how to communicate with our dogs in a way they understood, spent time with us and the dogs training us all, and there was an immediate change in both our dog's behavior for the better that has continued to improve daily. We had a list of behaviors we wanted Tom to "fix" and he addressed each one, and there was instant improvement in each area by the time Tom left our house. Tom also gave us many tips as we talked about feeding, play toys, play activities, etc. We found this to be valuable information that Tom freely shared. My husband and I highly recommend the Bark Busters approach and Tom Zebrowitz. He has so much knowledge and is a great trainer! We are so glad we took the time and made this investment, and I'm pretty sure if our dogs could speak "human", they would agree.

It has been an amazing experience learning new techniques that have helped to change our dog's overprotective behaviors, so that she better understands her role in our pack. We have also learned how to become better pack leaders in the process. The results are immediate and with continued practice, will ensure a forever happy pack! Thank you Bark Busters for providing these highly effective methods, and thank you, Mr. Zebrowitz, for sharing your knowledge, for your guidance, and your patience in training us...you are a dog whisperer!

Max came to our rescue when we were having issues with our 2-year-old goldendoodle's leash aggression. It had gotten to the point where we would go out of our way to walk her where we knew we wouldn't run into other dogs (which is very difficult in our neighborhood!). Max assessed the issue and was able to give us tips that had her walking like a pro by the end of the visit. Dog training visits aren't a magical cure - you have to be disciplined and maintain the techniques with your dog for the long run, which has been tough, but well worth the effort. We would definitely recommend the Barkbusters team to others.

We already had a 5 yr old Bischon when we adopted a 5 yr old greyhound that was having some issues with over-excitement and some aggression. With a baby on the way I was nervous about being able to safely control him around our baby girl. Most of the issues were part of our in house schedule so I was excited when a friend told me about Bob & Judy. They worked with us in our house to set up routines and taught us how to use corrections that mimic dog pack behavior. It took some getting used to, but we saw huge improvements with both pups. Our greyhound is so much calmer and so wonderful to be around, I can't believe the changes! It does take work and consistency, but it is well worth it! I highly recommend them and the Bark Busters program.

Before Bob and Judy Padgett came to help us, our boxer mix Puck was a mess! She had social issues, barking issues, aggression issues, etc. But within the first meeting, Bob and Judy taught us so much about what we needed to do, we could tell an immediate improvement! We can even walk her, which was not even a remote possibility before. My husband was very skeptical, but he was a believer soon. For the money, I don't think you'd be able to find anything better! I'm so thankful for these two!

Tom Zebrowitz has been working with me and my one year old King Charles Cavelier, Pippa, to devert her destructive ways. A real turning point came when he brought a huge bag of toys for her to chew on and play with. Now she entertains herself without chewing on the wrong thing. Tom has helped with many behavioral issues which have resolved under his guidance. He uderstands a dog's mind. Thanks Tom.
