We contacted Tom to help with a foster who had some aggression problems, in one visit we were on the way to get him adopted! As a bonus at the same time Tom had our pack of 6 dogs sitting patiently... to go outside and there's no more rushing the door when the doorbell rings. We highly recommend Bark Busters and Tom.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Tom takes time to get to know you and your pet's behavior to accommodate training needs. Great work!

Cheryl came to our house and immediately had our dogs full attention! I was stunned when she told me that I was going to get our dog to sit, stay then come to us in the first ten minutes...and he did! It is still a work in progress as we have had some major life changes and have had a hard time getting all our training in. For the effort we have put in, our dogs behavior has significantly improved. Please note, this is more person training than it is dog training. You will have to work regularly with your dog to make improvements. I value this service as the trainer, Cheryl, was very concerned with making us feel at ease, gaining respect of our dog, and being flexible with scheduling. It has been worth every penny.

I can't say enough about Tom Zebrowitz and Bark Busters. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Tom, and the results have been amazing. We saw a difference in our rescue Chihuahua after the first visit. With Tom's guidance, we continue to see improvement after each session. Tom has turned a frightened, one-person dog in to the loving family dog I always knew she could be. We couldn't have done it without him!

Max Alligood from Bark Busters is indeed a terrific trainer – both of dogs and of people. We had three pretty unruly dogs a little over a year ago, and he had them on very good behavior in remarkably short order. One used to pull terribly on the leash and go berserk when we passed other dogs in the neighborhood, and with Max’s instruction, I was able to walk past another unruly dog, and mine never paid any attention. The neighbor even called out, “What a well-behaved dog you have!” He is also very creative with training techniques, adjusting for special situations like children in the house, making use of natural barriers, and the different temperaments of a multiple-dog pack. I have had dogs all of my life, but my husband never did until we met, and Max related very well with both of us. Max is very patient and generous with his time and with his instruction, and I highly recommend him to you. He has multli-level pricing and will work with you on a program that addresses your specific needs.

When we adopted our lab mix from the animal shelter, it was love at first hug, but we didn't know anything about her. When problems started to emerge including aggression with other dogs and barking at baby strollers we knew we needed help. Enter Max Alligood "dog trainer extraordinaire". Max was able to give us the tools we needed to get started on training our dog and he put us on the path to having a dog we could love even more. Since his initial visit Max has returned to reinforce what we learned and give us new insights. We appreciate the support he has provided with phone calls and e-mails. Thank you Max!

We had tried many different things with our large dog's aggression issues but were still very stuck until we met Max Alleygood. Having strangers/contractors come round to the house was always stressful as we never knew if our dog would lash out at them, and this created a vicious cycle. Max very quickly was able to hone in on where we were going wrong. His techniques for improving things were so simple that I was unconvinced they would work. What amazed me was not only that they did, but how quickly. I have nothing but positive praise for Max and the Barkbuster methodology and would recommend him whole heartedly.

Bob and Judy Padgett have been great! We have an Aussie that has been aggressive over food and toys to other dogs, and within just a few short visits to our home, they taught us how to manage and control this issue to where it is now non-existant. We also got a few other training tips that has made our Aussie more enjoyable! We highly recommend them!

OMG Bob and Judy Padgett did an awesome job. I had a barking Shih tzu and I was afraid to walk him any more as he would get crazy bark at people and dogs. These qualified dog trainers spent the adequate time with his explaining why, how and what. It is the 2nd day of practicing our training and I am proud to say this morning on our walk, he sat and watched the german shepherd walk by without a bark!! I was so excited and we will continue our routine as practice makes perfect. This was so worth the time and limited cost, I wish I had done this year's ago. Thank you Judy and Bob Padgett, for your professionalism and proven techniques. It is totally awesome.. Thanks again.

I am so very impressed with Ryan McPherson and Bark Busters! We have a pit mix and while he's the most lovable and harmless dog, his bark sounds otherwise. We really wanted to work on controlling his barking and a few other small behaviors (doorbell/answer the door behaviors, stair behavior, and proper leash behavior). After my first conversation on the phone, Ryan and I had set up an appointment for the following week. He arrived promptly and the training started the minute he walked in the door. He talked with us about the basics of dog behavior and how we needed to communicate with out dog. We spent the second half of the lesson actually practicing everything we had just talked about. In just that short of a time our dog was eagerly listening and responding to our commands. It's been a few days since our initial lesson with Ryan and our dog is already showing HUGE improvements! He watches us to see how he needs to respond and he's listening and responding to what we're telling him. I'm so thankful to Ryan and Bark Busters for helping us get a good handle on how we needed to communicate with our dog to be able to train him properly.

My Westie had a terrible barking problem. I've had other dogs (one Westie) and had never dealt with this before. He was anxious and always on "high alert". After just 3 hours with Max, Jake is totally different. He isn't barking at all, is relaxed and so am I. We also did some lease training which has made our walks so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend Max and Bark Busters.

Recently I had a bad encounter with one of their employees. But once we got in contact with the company everything was taken care of. Max came out to our house and he was great. Nice, to the point and just what I was hoping to expect. Given at first I judged the company on a bad employee. Now I can relax knowing they will take care of any problems that arise.

We just got our first dog, ever. He's an Australian Shepherd and at 8 weeks old, we decided to get some training, both for us and him. After reading everything we could find about this breed and getting many conflicting opinions we decided to find a real trainer. We found Tom Zebrowitz with Bark Busters. After our first session with Tom our new puppy was taking direction and actually listening. Actually, I think we were listening and maybe that was the point. We give Tom and Barkbusters Two Thumbs Up. Well worth the cost and highly entertaining as well.

In just 2 sessions I have learned so much from the Padgett's to help me with handling my Great Dane puppy. The training in very hands on & at your own pace. They give you the information in a concise, easy to understand manner and give you a written handout of what you discuss each session. Throughout the session they are passing on great information to help you with training your dog. I so wish I had used them earlier, I have seen such a difference already with my dog. If you need to you can e-mail, call, or text them between sessions if problems arise. Great service, can't say enough good things about the Padgett's & the program.

Max was absolutely fantastic to work with. Not only did my dog learn a lot but I did as well. He was very professional, punctual and personable. I would without a doubt recommend him and his services to anyone looking for the best dog training services available!
