Barking Lot

I have been to the Barking Lot several times with my Poodle, and they are wonderful, I have tried other places in town and this one seems to be the best. My dog is never there for long like some other places that seem to take all day long. When my dog leaves here he looks great and is not stressed like other places seemd to make him!

My Vet reccommended the Barking Lot for our new puppy. He and members of his staff use them and have good things to say, so we tried them. It was a very good experience. So good that we're taking her back today for her second bath. After Muppet's first bath and puppy cut she was happy and playful when we picked her up.. She acted as if she'd become best friends with the staff which means they treated her well. Muppet looked good and smelled even better. Her nails were well trimmed and her top knot was done up in a bow. They followed our instructions concerning the way we wanted her cut and even gave us some tips on grooming at home between times. They were friendly, helpful and accomadating. When I called today for a rush wash they fit me in and were very pleasant about it. They are a small shop and there is something very personal about the place, not like a big chain where your pets are run through the dog wash and groomed by someone just out of school. You can tell these people have been doing this for a while and are still doing it because they want to. If service keeps up like this, I'm a customer for life.

I have liked the Barking Lot since we first went there, first for a nail clipping to check it out and then for baths. I was impressd with the caring staff and the happy dog that was air dried and looking good when she was finished. I would recommend. My dogs are short haired so they do not require the full grooming routine. Try them out for yourself. If you do not like the service, do not return, but if you are happy like we are, spread the word.

dont go to this place it is a DUMP!! The owner is a real piece of work, she is a real piece of work. I had a cut on my dogs neck and was covered with a bandana and the owner of the shop did not tell me when i came to pick the dog up, and when i called back she acted like she didnt know anything. I will never go back to that place again, oh yea her name was barbara so beware!!

The gals do a great job on your dogs and cats - the animals love them and so do I. The prices are reasonable and fair and they are most accomodating to your needs.
