I have had heel pain for many years. I stand on my feet at a store on hard floors every day, all day. Dr Dixon and his staff really listened to me. They really cared what I was feeling. The office is small and nice. It is easy to get to. My heel pain is so much better I just about hugged the girl as I left the office the last time. Go and see this guy, you will not regret it.

I have had problems with athletes foot for as long as I can remember. I saw this doctor one time and he took one look and new how to treat it. He told me that it would take up to 3 weeks, but 10 days later it was all gone. I am the happiest guy alive. I can show my feet to my girlfriend again. Thanks Doc

I love this doctor. He is an excellect surgeon. I have had pain in my big toe for as long as I can remember. He sat down and spoke with me directly about the options. Surgery was my best option. He told me what to expect and the front office told me how much my bill would be. I am 8 weeks out from surgery and my toe is perfect. I have no more pain or trouble fitting in shoes. I can work again without pain.

I can understand the confusion that some of the other comments have posted. Insurance these days is confusing. The doctor saw me right away, the same day. I needed an injection. They verified my benefits for me and told me what I would need to pay ahead of time. I am a medical billing person and I confirmed what they said and they were right. I decided to have the injection and it has worked perfectly. I have had no pain since then. The doctor was nice and did not speak over my head. I would highly recommend him. I think the prior posts are from ignorant people.

I really don't know what the other negative comments are talking about. I started seeing Dr Dixon a few years ago for heel pain. He treated this very well. I returned for a bunion pain. Surgery was required. This went very well. I have had no problems. The billing department was not an issue because I actually paid my balance. It sounds like the others just didn't want to pay. You actually get to see the doctor in this office. He is the best doctor I have seen in years. He explained everything so that I could understand.

About three years ago, Dr. Dixon performed surgery on my foot. It was actually the second surgery on the same foot since his handiwork from the first surgery didn't hold! Since my husband was unemployed, I had started making payments on what I owed after insurance. In the meantime, they hired a new and EXTREMELY rude billing person who informed me that I would have to pay the balance immediately. They would not honor the agreement I had previously made with the former employee and proceeded to take $750 out of my account without my permission. I had made the mistake of paying with a debit card over the phone. The bank investigated and saw that I had been making payments and ruled in my favor. They took the money back from them. They then tried to sue me for $10,000 (I only owed them $750), even saying that I owed them money for my child, which was a total lie. I was able to back up everything with documented proof. Their own lawyer advised them to drop and run - and that included their dropping even the amount I owed and was willing to pay previously. Their dishonesty ended up costing them quite a bit of money. You will not go near this guy if you are smart.

I had a visit with this Dr. Dixon and was scheduled for a recheck on Feb 2, 2009. I was out of town on an emergency as I just moved to Ga leaving Family behind in NY and Fl. I was sent via email a reminder of my appointment, being out of town I replied to the email that I could not make the app't. Upon my arriving home I found that my insurance company was billed for a complete office visit. I called the office and explained the situation. I was told the charges stood. When I told them that their email was a no reply they did not care and proceeded to charge my AMEX. I called AMEX and the charges were reversed. Then they put my account on collection. I told them I would be happy to pay a no show charge but a 99214 (office visit) is a lie and it is fraud. I would never recommend this office or Dr. They cheat and lie!!!
