Our a/c unit hasn't been the best to us in the last couple of years. Charlie and Sam have both been here to rescue my family from this dreadful heat, and have done an OUTSTANDING job! Its amazing how fast they are at coming out to my house and getting the a/c fixed in no time at all. The employees are such good hearted people and that's really important too. Just makes you feel like family. These guys are truly experienced in their work.

Our AC unit died on a Saturday evening when the temperature was 102. I called our regular AC company and got no response - just a machine. I opened the yellow pages and found Barron's. I called and Sam answered on the third ring. He said he could be here in about 2 hours. Not only did he get to our house when he said he would, he had the AC fixed in about an hour. I can not say enough about how much we love Sam! Our old company just lost a customer and Barron's just gained a customer for life!

my a.c. broke down friday night! (emergencies only happen on week-ends!) i phoned barron's sat morn just intending to leave a message, hoping they would get to me monday. but no! charlie replied 30 seconds later, came to the house 1pm saturday, spent 1 hour, replaced the broken pump, tested the equipment and only left after being assured that everything worked well - now THAT's service. comforting to know i have a real friend in the hvac business! thanks, charlie!

I was so impressed with Barron's great customer service, fair prices, and attention to detail that I now use them for my rental houses in addition to my own home. I get a call when they are on their way, they are prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. More than most other companies I have dealt with, I feel like they respect my time and money. They went out to a tenant of mine this past week and she called me to say how impressed she was...the house is cool and she's comfortable. Good prices, happy tenant, what could be better?!

I recently purchase a home and ac unit was put in by Barron's Heating & Air.I call the company an said that breaker was tripping the owner was very nice said he would send a tech out an there would be a 56$ service charge.The tech check my unit and said there's bad new it was struck by lightning and the unit had to be replaced he wrote it up and said i should call my insurance an that there was nothing else he could do an left.I cleaned off the disconnect an straight wired the unit myself an its was fine I'm very hurt and disappointed everything is about a dollar now an getting over on good customers.

We called and left a message for you after reading this review. We're very concerned that hot-wiring your unit the way you've described is extremely dangerous and you and your family are at risk. last wednesday my fiance called your company because we had a major leak from our upstairs unit. the tech that came out to us was Mr.Sam Beyers and Mr. Charlie Wright. We let your company know that we had not alot of money and that we needed fixed especially because i have a son that is mentally challenged and was diagnosed with cancer. Sam promissed to fix the leak and sove our problems for sixty dollars. He then installed a drip pan pipe coming out of the side of my house, he also told us he was an inspector. To say the least it would have never passed code and the upstairs unit continued to leak and the sysytem was shut down. We than called snellville heating and air they came in and solved our leaks took the pipe that your tech put on the outside of my house cleaned up insallated and did not charge us a penny.we are very grateful to snellville heating and air for their professional job well done.

We're frankly surprised to see this review and rechecked paperwork. This is what we found: when Sam originally went into the attic on Wednesday, May 30th, he discovered that a new evaporator coil had been installed with the original drain pan of the old evaporator coil sitting underneath it. The old drain pan was 12 in x 18 in; the new coil needed a 36 x 36. The primary drain for the evaporator coil was stopped up, and since the secondary drain had not been plugged or capped off, this caused water to come out of the secondary drain. Because the drain pan catching the water was too small for the coil, you ended up with water on your attic floor. That day, we installed a vent drain on the secondary drain and were unable to free the blockage on the primary drain despite our best efforts. We informed the home owner that a new drain pan was needed, and that the main drain line would need to be rerun. Our tech returned on Saturday with help to rerun the main drain line to the outside of the building, install the correct drain pan, install a float switch and wire it into the system, and checked the charge on the condensor. The techs also found two disconnect boxes outside that had been used for the old condensers. The boxes had power going to them, so they were dangerous and needed to be disconnected. They took care of that. They found that the new lines that had been used by whoever installed the new coil had been tied into the old line set that ran through the house. This was a possible problem because the two lines have different sizes. The old line set was 3/4 x 5/16 whereas the manufacturer of the new unit requires the line set to be 3/4 x 3/8 to allow proper flow of refrigerant to the compressor. After we left, the water backed up again, but because we had put the float switch on the new drain pan, the unit switched off and this saved the attic floor. We set up an appointment to come back out to see what else needed to be done and to make sure the coil was level. Before we could come out, we received a call telling us that a new company had been contacted and had been out there to do the final adjustments. They were not able to charge you because of all the work we had already done. And we took care of all the work for $60 knowing you were in a difficult situation. We worked hard to go the exta mile for you. A thank you would have been nice.
I asked a coworker if he had any recommendations for repairs to a leaky water heater...he offered Barron's HVAC---a company whose services he would whole heartedly recommend. I tried Barrons and would highly recommend them. They did the repair to my water heater in a professional, cost effective way (also over a holiday weekend!). I would use their services again without hesitation.

Barron supplied a gas heating stove to us under false pretenses. It was supposed to run even if the power went out since it would be located in a place with frequent power outages and low temperatures. However, the stove can either start on battery or on wall power but cannot switch without batteries being manually installed. That was the first incompetence and/or deliberate misleading. Then they failed to supply the propane conversion kit, despite agreeing to do so, which prevented installation for a matter of weeks. We are very unhappy with them and do not recommend them at all.

REVIEW NOT FOR THIS COMPANY: The last time we sold anything requiring propane was over three years ago, and we have never sold stoves. In all our interactions with customers, we try hard to make sure we give all the details needed so that our customers can make informed choices. The last thing we want is an unhappy customer. This review is several months overdue and I had such a great experience, I did not want to forget to write about it. We are new homeowners and had researched on Kudzu for an HVAC repair service with a good reputation. We found Barron's and based on their solid customer reviews chose to call them for our clogged furnace drain. Sam promptly arrived and was very professional, friendly, and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. He diagnosed our problem, and had it cleaned out and repaired in about an hour. He shared a great deal of preventative maintenance that my husband and I can do on our own. Sam showed us important things on our unit in the attic and walked us around to the air compressor outside and taught us how to keep things running efficiently. As first-time homeowners, my husband and I really appreciated his enthusiasm and helpful tips. We recommend this company and will always use them for our future HVAC needs!

After searching for 3 days and listening to all kinds of snow jobs, I found Barron's. The techs were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all honest.Showed them my problem , I had a quote within 20 minutes that was complete and fair. Technician was on time and stocked with all the parts the next day. Job was done very professionally, quickly and very clean. I will be sure to recommend them to anyone in my neighborhood. Before we called the Barron's HVAC LLC, we already had a couple of estimates from two different companies, but we were still reluctant to use any of them. Later we saw Barron's working at our neighbor's house and then checked them out on the kudzu.com. We read all the reviews and also David's responses to his customers' comments. We decided to try Barron's because we were convinced with their being transparent and honest. Ray Prescott gave us a concise proposal. After he evaluated our old system, he brought a booklet on HVAC products so that he could help us select from various options. We accepted his proposal because we were satisfied with their good products and reasonalbe price. The next day their technician Brandon Johnsa and his assitant took time in istalling a complete system of heating and air. I could tell that they worked hard on removing old ones and replacing new ones. The new system has been working perfectly since it installed on August 10. We are very pleased with their service.

They push parts that were not needed and had to come out twice, I had a scroll compressor that was melting off the connectors so it would not stay connected, the tech used auto terminal connectors designed for cars, which just melted off after 12 hours or so. I ended up fixing myself with the real parts to fix the problem. The compressor terminal problem is common and you are supposed to use the correct parts to fix it. These guys are a joke, please avoid.

We warranty all our parts for five years and use only good quality materials. Our track record, as you can see from all our satisfied customers, is excellent. We either do it right or don't do it at all. I have been the only person covering Duluth in the past few weeks, and I have no recollection of adding anything to a compressor. I wonder if this review is posted to the right company. You are welcome to call us back and ask for me by name - David Barron.
It was Sunday and a holiday weekend, my a/c was not working. called, received a call back within 5 minutes, they were at my house within 1 hour, had repaired the a/c within 10 min. VERY REASONABLE PRICES. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OVER MORE PROMINENT COMPANIES YOU HEAR ADVERTISED. GIVE THEM A TRY
