We took our dogs for boarding over a holiday weekend @ 10 am on a Sunday we received a phone call she passed away "some time this morning" they said she was fine when they came in earlier that moring she must have died from bloat from eating or drinking to fast (she had no signs of any health issue prior to her stay the only reason I can think she would be eating or drinking fast is because she went to long without food and water) when my husband said we were on our way to pick her and our other dogs up they said we would have to wait until later in the afternoon of course we went anyway (our other dogs were soaking wet and smelled bad) we took her right away to be buried when we arrived my brother ripped open the bag and she was green and bloated making it very obvious she had been dead more than a few hours called to ask questions they were rude and insensitive it was not their fault or problem they called Monday wanting payment even for the dog who died in their care

The office manager is the rudest person she doesn't care about you or your pet. The entire staff is incompetent and that includes the vet. They should not be in business and I nor anyone I know will NEVER take their pets there. I wouldn't trust them for a second. They even tried to bill me for something I didn't get for a pet I didn't own. Then called the other vets offices and told them not to allow my pet in. That is slander, I proved to them I didn't own the pet but it didn't matter. My pets name is close to another, but spelling is different and of course the owners are different. They are RUDE, Un-courteous and mean to the animals and people. Go to a vet far away from Cartersville. None of them are worth a penny. RUN!!

I have recommended Dr. White and this animal hospital for years but after my last 2 or 3 visits I will never go back again. The receptionist staff is beyond rude and they are the most uncaring people I've encountered in some time. The vet rushed through the exam with my dog and never provided feedback from all of the blood tests or urine test performed. I had to call the vet myself to get the results faxed to me and there were a few things on the extensive blood test that were not normal. Since I've been going to this vet for years and I go every 2 to 3 months for urine test and blood test I would have expected a call to discuss the results or recommendations but I received nothing and not one single call. It seems this place just like many other businesses start out great and eventually get worse over time and less caring. I could go on and on but I'm so disappointed with the care my dog has received I'll stop here.
