Prompted to try basil's through a scoutmob deal. While the food wasn't bad, the service was definitely sub-par. On street parking is tough to find in that area, so we parked with the valet. On the way home I discovered that my prescription medication which was in the console was missing. I immediately phoned the owner, who took down my information. Unfortunately I received no call back. As most of us know, when an owner takes that attitude, there is usually much more going on. Visit at your own risk.

Just went there this weekend and what a nice little place. Cozy little fireplace for winter and a nice deck for summer, tucked away in a little house in Buckhead. This reasonably priced spot offered an excellent Sea Bass special with a unique mashed potatoes with vegetables tucked inside. Mussels to start were very nice and the atmosphere was charming. Curious to see what the spring and summer will do the menu...

I took my fiance here last Valentine's Day, and the food was incredible. I don't remember what I ate, but it was so good it gave me goosebumps...I'm serious. The prices were comparable to other sit down restaurants, but not as much as some steakhouses in the area. The environment is great, very cool and romantic.
