Baumann's Home Appliance Center

Needed my Uline repaired and was concerned about bad reviews for their recommended vendors. Bauman's had courteous phone staff that set up appointment. It took 2 appointments to fix the problem due to a back ordered part. Both times they were right on time and called on their way to verify that we were home. Repairman was quick, courteous and neat.

I have dealt with this company for many years. They have always came when they said and have always fixed my appliance's. I think what has changed is not the company but the fact that 5 million people live in ATL,and it's not easy getting around the city in the same time as with years in the past. I feel the company deserves some credit. If not for the fact that they have been around for 30 plus years than at least for the fact that with the city growing and changing so much they still can compete with the "bigger dogs" in the business!!

I'm with the other reviewer - past experiences have been good but after today I will not use them again. All was fine until I went to run a load of laundry after the serviceman had "fixed" my washer (for $105). It was not fixed and when I called and insisted that the repairman come back on the same day (i had taken off of work to handle it and needed my washer!!), he reluctantly came back with such attitude that I was shocked. He actually told me to call someone else. So I did.

This is a family business and it shows in the care they put into their service calls. I have used them for years and wil continue to do so.

Twice committed to a date and time for a service call, and twice didn't they didn't show. Over the years have had good results with this merchant, but something seems to have gone bad as far as reliability goes.
