I can't begin to thank Bea Pludow enough for teaching me how to train my dogs, Buddy and Khloe in a positive way. I've had dogs all my life and I thought I knew how to relate to and train my dogs, but Bea took my understanding of dog behavior to an entirely new level. I love clicker training and the positive way in which she taught me to relate to my dogs -- it's amazing! She took my wild puppies and turned them into well-behaved dogs, but did so in a way where they volunteer their behavior. It was amazing to watch their transformation. Thanks Bea! It's been a life changing experience! Carol D. Poway, CA

I met with Bea to help me with my 2.5 year old Springer Spaniel. He had been attacked twice by pit bulls. During both attacks he was submissive, just rolled over and tried to be flat as a pancake. Since total submission didn't work, he then switched to offensive aggression. He would attack any dog coming in his direction then run back to me and try to climb up my body. He was scared to death and trying to fight off any would-be attackers. It was getting worse and worse and was becoming a real problem. Once I started working with Bea and learning how to help him with clicker training he had a complete turn-around. He is now a well adjusted happy dog. I have learned how to help him work through his fear and give him the tools he needs when he is feeling threatened. I cannot say enough positive things about Bea. SHE REALLY KNOWS HER STUFF and works with the whole dog, not just can he sit/stay. She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and patient. She has worked with every type of dog and every kind of problem. I highly recommend Bea Pudlow. I feel so blessed to have found her and have had the pleasure of learning from her.

I have a female Maltese with agression issues towards other dogs. Bea Pludow was the trainer I've been looking for. She is very patient, knowledgable and compassionate. She helped me learn more about my dog and gave me the skills and to help my dog to be more calm and socialized. I will be using her again for additional training! We both loved working with her.

I have a 3 year old Min-pin with aggression issues so I called Bea to help with training. He has come very far in the past few months because of Bea's help. She has taught me a wealth of knowledge that I needed to assist in changing my dog's behavior. Rocky is much more responsive to the interventions than anything else I have tried before. Bea is very accommodating by working with your lifestyle and your schedule. I definitely recommend her for dog training and will be calling her again for some maintenance sessions and for the new puppy we just got!

I have a dog that I started out fostering & ended up being given Tippy. Her problem is psycholicial & with Bea's advice I think I can make the necessary changes. Bea spent so much time with me on the phone that I now have all kinds of diets, behavior suggestions & confidence in the fact I can change Tippy into a lovable dog & I intend to keep Bea posted. Thank you Bea you are one fabulous lady. GI

I came across one of Bea's postings on the Internet, with respect to training dogs to come. I wrote her an email and within the hour, I got a response from her asking me to call her. Although she lives in CA and I live in CT, she spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me talking me through some of the issues I have with my dog. Her explanations are clear and easy to follow, and I look forward to working on them with my dog. It is rare you meet people these days who are willing to help out of the goodness of their heart. Thank you Bea!

Bea was fantastic with our Jack Russell. She is a rescue dog with severe separation anxiety and aggression towards other dogs. Our dog has made great progress and Bea has given us the tools to continue her training on our own. We would highly recommend her!

Bea is a top notch trainer, who displays the utmost professionalism and caring. From the moment she walked in our door, she got down to business with my family, including our two children, and, of course, our dog. She really turned things around from making a "room" for Sabra to recommending that we change the diet. Our dog went from a skittish and sickly pup (due to factors before we acquired her) to a confident, active and healthy little doggie. Keep in mind that training a dog takes a lot of work. Bea can give you all the tools you need, along with wonderful phone support when necessary, but ultimately it is up to the pet owners to implement the training. If you stay the course and follow Bea's recommendations, you and your pet/s will be much happier!!

I can honestly say our dear cockapoo might have been on the way to the pound due to his aggressive behavior around us and our three year old son around his food. Bea's in home training was worth every penny and with her expert training, no longer has the food issues and we even went beyond and tackled the jumping and barking at the front door, walking on a leash leisurely and more. And Bea is easily accessible via email or phone for advice, responding quickly. Thank you Bea, you are truly amazing. Thank you so much for teaching US how to work with our beloved dog.

My 2 1/2 year old Boston Terrier had a fear of ruuning/playing children. He became very anxious around them, growled, barked and has even sometimes nipped at their hands. I tried a few other behaviorists prior, and training worked but never seemed to transfer over to what his real problem was/fear of moving kids. Bea and her clicker training method works wonders!! Within about 4-6 sessions I could see my dog's behavior and anxiety level changing before my eyes. Its a slow and steady process but so worthwhile. And FUN! My dog loves our little click sessions both with Bea and the ones I do on my own. The training really does not require much time out of your day, and its not only easy on the dogs, but they really wind up loving it. Hard to explain until you do it. I have tried a bunch of methods, and this has by far worked the best and been the easiest for the lay person to keep going on my own. I recommend the 6 sessions bc at first you need to have your dog learn what the click/treat means and then once they learn that (which takes a day) then you relate it over to whatever the specific problem is you are trying to correct in the dog. Just trust in the method, and give it a try. Nothing is making me happier than seeing my dog happily re shaping his fear trigger.

I have been working with Bea for the last six weeks and when she works with my little dog Roxy Lane, a Boston Terrier, her calm and quiet way works wonders. We have had several accomplishments to my high energy, hyper dog. She becomes calm, and very focus when Bea works with her. As for myself, I feel confident that we will achieve the goals that we have set for Miss Roxy Lane. I think it is very important to have training in your home. Where you can be in your own environment, so that Bea can see first hand what you and your dog is up against. She is very professional, has always kept all her appointments, and is very to the point with her training and doesn't waste any of my time, we start as soon as we get to the front door. I throughly enjoy every training session.

Thanks for such a great review and for signing up to continue your education with your wonderful little Roxy! Bea
I started training with Bea when my dog Hogan, a yellow lab, was 4 months old. He is now 2 years and am I glad I went to Bea to get trained. She showed me effortless methods to get the results I needed to enjoy the benefits of having a dog. If you have any problems with your animal please give Bea a shot. She will amaze you with how she can have your animal doing things you never thought they would ever do. I found out that most of the training is with the owner and not the animal. She is fun in her training and there is never any aggressive manners in her methods. Try her u will be amazed and find out you really can enjoy your pet.

I needed help with my lab/mix dog, Annie who had trouble getting along with other dogs. She showed very aggressive behavior toward other dogs, especially while walking on a leash in our neighborhood. My daughter was about to bring home her new French Bulldog puppy for a month at Christmas. We were all very worried about Annie. I was lucky enough to discover Bea Pludow; who really transformed Annie from a dog who was very unsure of herself to a much happier and relaxed, welcoming dog. My daughter and her dog left today, and our last picture was of the two dogs sharing a dog bed! Bea was instrumental in making this happen. Annie was also previously trained with an electronic correction collar; which is now thankfully discarded! Although Annie is 9 years old, she showed an amazing willingness to learn and change her behavior. I also have learned so much from Bea and would recommend her to anyone who wants to change their dog's behavior. It can be done; with a surprisingly gentle touch and also the training is fun! Bea knows dogs and what truly makes them tick. She brought out the best in my dog, and my entire family is grateful. Don't suffer with your dog's bad behavior any longer! My sweet young golden retriever was given to us as a rescue with a pretty much unknown background. The poor thing was afraid of everything and it took months to gain her confidence, yet she did display some obsessive and unruly bahaviors. We just couldn't figure her out. I found Bea on the internet and noticed that she had expertise in these behavioral issues. I've now just had 5 lessons and I have a new happy, trained, and well behaved dog. We have bonded so much more and are now looking forward to some additional more advanced training. Bea truly improved the quality of life for the whole family! She really knows her stuff, yet does this in such a gentle way. I've used other trainers but she is the best I've known!

I bought my best friend for my 40th birthday and was thinking about going to a training class - maybe, if I found time or if she was a "bad dog". I went to a pet store and meet with Bea on some class schedules and cost, etc. still just tossing with the idea. I did decide to join a class and I can tell you it has been simply the best decision that I have ever made. Bea is extremely knowledge and loves the work that she does and it shows in every minute that you are with her. My dog is my best friend and I don't believe that we would have the relationship that we have if it wasn't for my training classes. If you are thinking about training for any reason STOP thinking and call Bea it will simply be the best decision for you and your pet.
