Beads cost 300% more at this store than anywhere else I have ever shopped. Old ladies who can't use the internet and newbies that don't know better yet are his only customers. This guy is creepy! He is hateful to everyone under 90 years old. I don't think he's racist; I think he's necrophilic.

The Store was one of my favorite places, until the owner Mike displayed his prejudice side. I am African American. I decided to take my business some where else. This is not the only store in town.

I just love this store. I found them right after they opened and fell in love with jewelry making and that store. Mike is always friendly, employees have always been friendly and you just couldn't ask for more help. Prices and selection are wonderful too. Don't know how Mike can get so much stock into such a small space but think he's getting ready to expand. Can't imagine what one reviewer was talking about.

Bead Dreams has the best selection of semi-precious, Swarovski, Czech and imported lampwork in town. There is a respectable selection of seed beads and an above average selection of tools including some specialty tools. The other local store can only compete in the lampwork and lampworking suppies. Good selection of books and mags. I've hit all greater Atlanta bead stores and this is my fav. The manager is very nice and the classes are great.

I don't know where the other reviewer went, but it can't be the same store I go to. The owner is nothing but friendly and helpful. He has given me all kinds of advice and ideas. Only one time has there been another employee..Marge (I think) and she was also wonderful. She offered to let me come in and she would help me in any way I needed, whether I brought the beads there or not. I try not to go too often, because I find too many things I do want. Great selection and prices..great place..classes too.

Every time I walk in this shop I remember why I swore I wouldn't go back. The manager is incredibly arrogant, rude, and unkind to his employees. The selection is good, lots of beads, but they have strange taste and I rarely find what I'm looking for. Most of the gemstones are in very large irregular shapes, 4mm or 6mm round beads in a gemstone are relatively rare. The prices are good (always seem to be half off), but the atmosphere just isn't worth it. The manager alternates between ignoring you when you or his employees speak to him and sneering at you while interrupting a question about the merchandise. I've never seen the same employee in the store twice. But the manager is always there every day, gossiping about the personal lives of other local bead shop owners and looking down his nose at you and his employees.
