I live less than 2 miles from the Glenwood Ave. store, but I usually drive to Cary when I want to shop at Bed Bath & Beyond. The Glenwood store's products are fine and the store is clean. The prices are higher than at some other places. The selection at Cary is better -- and the service at Cary is MUCH better. A few of of the clerks at Glenwood are really nice -- but it's hit or miss. Most clerks -- and especially the manager -- give you the bum's rush along with the attitude that you're wasting their precious time. It's pretty much a sure thing that when you get to the checkout, you'll be served by someone who's too cool for you. You'll get the silent checkout followed by a bored pronouncement of the total you owe. If you're lucky, you'll get a terse "thank you" once it's all over (my phrase for service like this is "the Walmart treatment"). Glenwood Manager, if you're reading this, I hope you'll do something about your cashiers and clerks. Also, if you don't have time to help customers, don't ask them if you can help them and then end up being brusque because you're in a hurry to do something else.

I came in to buy a bath curtain. It seemed like a simple task, but it ended up taking me an hour. A representative took the time to consider my color scheme and find just the right one for my needs - even though it took us a while. She was patient and thoughtful and I will be back there every time I need something for my bedroom, bathroom, or beyond...

For all of my bedding and bath needs i shop at bed bath and beyond. Their service and pricing is always great! There is always someone there to help you get something down from a shelf or take your items to the front desk while you continue to shop. It is great!
