My big girl Madison is the light of my life and a definite princess. Nothing but the best for her and that’s K 9. We have used the training (for us both) the grooming, daycare and boarding. The Kennel Team and Trainers have always treated Madison like their own, she’d follow them anywhere! It’s great knowing there is a safe place for her to interact with a pack and bond with the humans also.

As a responsible new pet owner, I did a lot of research on vets, groomers, daycare, etc. I visited some popular places in trendy parts of the city and did a temperament test at an adorable place in Buckhead. Bed & Bark in Smyrna kept coming up in my research but it wasn't convenient to my house/job. However, a colleague recommend them and I decided to visit. My 6 month old puppy has been going there nearly every day since. The team knows dogs and are the most highly certified team/facility I could find. My pup starts wagging when we turn into the driveway and the team is as excited to see him as he is to see them. To top it all off, they are training him and they have the absolute best groomers! You won't regret taking your furry family!

Just picked up my labradoodle and was SUPER PLEASED with their groomer! Joey is new to B&B and is AMAZING! I've never had a groomer actually show me what they were doing or give me tips to help between groomings! Thank you JOEY! We will be back very soon to see you again!!!

We have tried several doggy daycare facilities with our dogs over the years and Bed & Bark is the only one that made us feel like they truly cared about our pets first, not our wallets. The staff is always so happy to see our dog, Murphy, who attends daycare and our other dog, Astor, who gets groomed here. We have also taken advantage of several of the classes they offer. The classes are led in a positive manner that leaves you feeling supported, not judged some like obedience schools we have attended. We have been loyal clients for years and will continue to be a Bed & Bark family for our future pets. How many companies can you say that about nowadays? Most importantly, our dogs LOVE going there and we never have to worry a second about their well-being. They will do anything to make your dog successful --- they truly care!

I say third time's a charm because K-9 Coach is the 3rd facilty we have used for our Boxer and we finally found a great place where my wife and I feel comfortable leaving out little man. Our boxer has been attacked at other facilities and it is apparent that the staff at K-9 know what they are doing and are aware of everything in the yards at all times. Luckilym despite the fact our dog has been a victim numerous times, he maintains his Boxer wiggle and is ALWAYS happy to see the staff and other dogs at K-9. We have boarded him there a couple times and all was well, and we do daycare about once a week to "drain his batteries." I highly recommend K-9 coach for all of you dog needs, Otis does too!

After sending my dog to K-9 coach for several weeks, he came back in worse shape than when he when in. The kennel manager is rude, the front desk clerks have no idea what is going on, and the owner of the facility has little interest in any aspect of the business, which is at the least, odd, and at the most, grossly irresponsible. I will never take another of my dogs there again, as I have had to deprogram the one I sent there already.

This review is so off base that we do not even know how to respond. "mb1968" has never reviewed any other company. This fact, and their grossly inaccurate review, leads us to believe that they are either a recently fired, disgruntled employee, or a competitor trying to sabotage our business. In fact, we have not received one training complaint in over 4 months.
Assuming, however, they are a customer... I, Amber Burckhalter, am the owner. I founded this business over 10 years ago and am on-site 7 days a week, an average of 10 hours per day. I make a considerable investment in ALL of my employees and send them to ongoing training workshops, professional seminars, etc... throughout the year. Our kennel manager is Art. His passion for excellence is unsurpassed and he is, without question, the best kennel manager I have EVER met in the 20+ years I have worked in dog and pet related businesses. Our staff have the HIGHEST certifications possible. Our reputation is so good and we care so much about this industry that other training, daycare, boarding and rescue organizations come to seminars we host for continuing education.
Like any other company however, we do sometimes have customers whose expectations are not met. We strive for 100% excellence and, on these rare occasions, proudly stand behind our 100% satisfaction guarantee and work diligently to resolve ANY issue with that customer. In over 10 years and thousands of customers, we can proudly say that our annual customer satisfaction ratings are over 98% and we have a referral rate of nearly 80%.
We are upset by the blatant falsehood of this review and gladly ask ANY potential customer to please talk with our customers, colleagues, veterinarian practices with whom we have relationships, rescue organizations, professional organizations, etc... and we are sure you will find that our quality is only exceeded by our desire to enrich the lives of our customers and their dog(s). If you want to know more about me and my credentials, you can Google "Amber Burckhalter" and read the hundreds of articles and videos I am featured, quoted, published in. Additionally, I am a Certified Master Trainer in Canine Obedience and Behavior Modification - a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, the International Association of Canine Professionals and I am recognized by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers as a Certified Pet Dog Trainer, the only worldwide recognized canine trainer certification.
We invite you to call or drop in ANY TIME and see for yourself.
Great place for boarding and grooming with a friendly staff, and excellent for all your training needs. My Beagle Harley came to me with quite a bit of anxieties. Also, what I thought was separation anxiety (because he would urinate at the door when i left and howl the whole time) turned out to be a lack of confidence, and Kat Cunningham was my ticket to whip him into shape. I tried all the drugs which ended up giving him a seizure. Nothing worked until I did In board training with Kat which gave him the confidence he needed....along with the doggie door I had installed gave him independence. I couldn't have gotten any better service anywhere else... and even if I could I wouldn't take a chance going anywhere else. My boy is a lifer at K-9 Coach.

Our Doberman puppy LOVES going to Bed and Bark, no matter what the occasion. We take him for boarding when we go out of town, or on rainy days so he can play with other dogs and still get his exercise. He also went there for dog class and has gotten much better behaved. The staff is extremely friendly and always remember his name and greet him excitedly when we drop him off. Great place for pups of all sizes and ages!

We've been to a few doggie daycare and boarding businesses in the city and Bed and Bark is, by far, the best. Not only is the facility REALLY nice and clean but they also have an outdoor dog park and their staff is so professional. We wouldn't take Millie or Dunk anywhere else.
