The hairstylist I use here at the Beehive Salon is Ania May. I have been using her well over a year and have been very pleased with the way she carefully listens to my concerns, repeats back to me (sometimes several times) exactly what it is that I want as far as color and cut, and is open to giving me her opinion as well. She is fantastic! And...she is considered a Jr. Stylist at this salon so her rates are really low. You cannot beat the service and prices! Highly recommend ANIA MAY!! :) You can't go wrong with her.

I have lived walking distance to beehive for 4 years but never once ventured inside b/c I assumed it was an "old lady" salon. Boy, was I wrong. I tried the salon out for the 1st time today after a friend recommended it, and I loved it! Beth, the owner, is incredibly experienced (16 years) and does a fabulous job cutting and multi-tasking. She has very nice hair products and offers full service salon (waxing, massage, coloring, etc...) and was very friendly -- I never felt pressured to buy anything --I was the one who inquired about all the services and products while I was waiting and the staff were very patient with me (Katy at the desk/apprentice). Her hair and skin products are great too -- At first, I thought they would be overpriced but once I realized they were homemade, I ended up buying several products including soap, conditioner, cleanser, etc.. that was all very well-priced (10-13$ range) and some items were as low as 75 cents on sale. I will definately go back and highly recommend this salon.

I first went to Beth at Beehive on the recommendation of another hairstylist who said Beth would be just the person to rescue me from a color job gone wrong. I had a family wedding coming up, and the other salon had left me looking far too 'goth girl' for the in-laws. Beth rescued me with a more natural red color for the wedding, and at my next coloring appointment she brought my hair color to perfection. I've stuck with her ever since. She's got the best knack for hair color I've experienced. I've had premature grays for years and started relying on salon coloring back when I lived in NYC, was single and had a hair budget, so I've seen some good people. Beth adjusts the color with the seasons, using highlights and lowlights, so I get to enjoy some variety (and lots of compliments) throughout the year. Just last month I saw a woman with similar grays come in for a new color and she walked out looking amazing, hip and natural - Beth is just really good at finding the right color. Last month, she did her new Keratin conditioning process on me and I have reached a new level of hair nirvana. My hair is typically thick and coarse and in the Atlanta summer humidity it frizzes and expands to a ridiculous size. I get tired of trying to flat iron it and load it down with products - to no avail. With the Keratin treatment, my hair is smooth, frizz-free, requires a minimum of styling and looks amazing even when it's a steam bath outside. I'm hooked. I love Beth and Beehive.

I have seen Beth, the owner of Beehive, for at least 8 years, and she is a brilliant colorist and superb at cutting curly hair. My hair is long and wavy/curly and it always looks great. My mother sees Beth whenever she visits from NY, and she has really curly hair. The whole family goes to Beehive, and we love the atmosphere, the products, the staff (Katy is a great addition! Love the eyelash coloring for the summer) and especially Beth. Thanks for keeping us looking great!

I visited the Beehive Hair Co for the first time yesterday (10/24/08) and am pleased to announce that i have FINALLY found a stylist that listens to my opinion as well as intermingling her own opinions in a friendly way to come out with a fabulous result! It was a very pleasant and relaxed experience and i plan on returning many many times. After i left the salon my 8 year old said "Wow Mom your hair is really cute"...you just can't get that kind of compliment anywhere lol. I HIGHLY recommend the Beehive Hair Co to anyone who is looking for a peaceful environment, fabulous service and a one of a kind hair care experience!

Beth has been cutting and coloring my hair for about ten years! She's awesome! The salon's atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly. I love the new Beehive hair products. Beth does a great job with my hair and my husband's hair.

This is a peaceful shop with a talented owner who has also created a small boutique atmosphere. Customers are offered hot tea. Owner Beth has created her own fabulous organic hair care products. And I love my hair! What more could I say? Marilyn

I have used Beehive Hair Salon for 3 years and am very pleased with the personal attention Beth (the owner) and Kirstie provide. Beehive is a small salon tucked away in the Oak Grove Shopping Center . . . I found it because I live close by and decided to give it a try - that was 3 years ago. Beth is able to make my hair do things that other hairdressers have never been able to achieve. The salon atmosphere is comfortable and low key . . . I get Beth's full attention during my appointment time.

I've been a client of Beth's, the owner, for more than 6 years. Beth has been coloring/cutting my hair, every six weeks, over that period of time. My hair is beautiful, healthy and so naturally colored that a stranger I recently met thought I was a natural blonde (I'm a brunette.) In additional to being a great stylist, Beth is also very friendly and professional in the way she runs her business. Highly recommended.
