Superior service, 3/19/2013

Everyone at the service department is always so excellent to me, I always bring all of my oil changes and warranty fixes to the Honda Dealership. Josh, Joshua, George, and everyone else are always... very helpful. This was my first time working with Joshua, and he was wonderufl to work with. I like people that are real and on point. He was both. This particular visit was the most excellent in 4 years of coming to Bell Honda. I was given a rental car which made the process much smoother and easier for me instead of bringing the car in twice. I love love love my warranty, and will always purchase a warranty when I buy a vehicle because it makes me feel like a VIP when I check out and everything is free! Car was washed up nice, looked brand new! Now if you guys could just throw in a quick vacumme job that would be SUPERIOR service! Also had a mirror painted and it looks so incredibly good, I have to thow a kudos out to the body shop as well. It looks excellent and matches the vehicle perfect. I cant quite get the electric mirror to work properly though, so I either need to play with it some more or bring it back in for adjustment to the cables.

A little disappointed

My disappointment is multi-layered. It started when I made the appointment and gave them all the details of what needed to be fixed only to have them know nothing when I arrived for my appointment (i'm wondering why they bother asking). I needed an oil change, tire rotation and I had a tire with a slow leak (light would come on about every 6 days). Upon picking up my car, I was told that my tires were fine. Oddly enough my light came on 6 days later and when I checked the pressure in what should now be the back tire, I quickly realized the tires did not get rotated at all. Of course I take it back and they immediately take my car to rotate the tires and I again let them know that my tire was leaking. I got it back, and only after asking was I told that that there was nothing in my tire...I was offered the opportunity to wait AGAIN but I couldn't so now here I am 6 days later (actually 12 now because I don't have time to deal with them) and I am filling up my tire. Is the third time a charm or should I just go somewhere else?? P.S. I've been happy with all other services I had received in the past.

AMAZING!!!!

Our experiene was great from sales to finance.. we bought 2 BRAND NEW cars..the time it took from pulling in to leaving with our new cars was only 3 hrs!!!! FANTASTIC!!!! the finance guy was amazing and so was the manager =) I will DEFINATELY be getting my future cars from them! Thank you bell honda for making what could have been a nightmare experience a GREAT one!

Used Cars Take 6 weeks to Process

Purchased a vehicle w/cash 6 weeks ago, & still waiting on the title and plates (expire in 7 days). Sales people are fine, and do a good job following up after the sale to make sure the vehicle is functioning. They ensured the vehicle was up to specs, and serviced properly. Haven't had any problems or issues the last 3 months. Be careful, and know the blue book value of the vehicle and request a CarFax before you buy. The dealer does not provide these unless you ask for them.

Hustled

Wife took her Accord in and was totally played. Was told her rear brakes needed replacing....they were replaced six months prior. Was told that a coolant flush was 'needed'...not 'recommended'. I'm confident that the Service Manager will hit his numbers for the month, but will not receive a penny more of our auto biz (we own two Accords). In this economy, bad behavior should be reported and not rewarded. Shame on Bell Honda.

Horrible experience

I had my Accord in to change the oil last Saturday.Monday morning a big puddle of oil is on may garage.Kevin, the adviser told me that the car has two major problems that the leak is coming from. One is a butt completely broken and the master cylinder broken as well. My car is purchased in Canada and I have 153,000 Km and that is about 89,000 miles. After I told them that they pulled the car back on and after 5 minutes the car was absolutely perfect, no leaking. I asked them to give me that in writing, It took them 20 minutes, after they discussed with the manager to give me a paper that says that the car has no leak after they check it.

Tire problems

The day before a long family vacation, I took my Honda civic in for service. No problems, but just needed a 45,000 mile check. When I was in Seattle I got a flat, I took it to the Honda dealer there and they told me that the tire is very bald and needed to be aligned. I told them I got the tires less than a year ago. They laughed and said that the tires have never been aligned when the new one was put on. I told them to fill it and ensure no leak and get me back on the road. Which they did. Next day I had another flat with the same tire. I stopped by a Firestone and the service guy told me that the tire is so worn due from the misalignment that they will not even attempt to repair it. To make a long story short, I had to buy a new tire and when I returned back to Phoenix I showed them the tire and Aidreas the service adviser told me that the tire got a flat from a hole in it and not from misalignment.

Best Honda dealer I've delt with.

Fast, efficient service, oil change is only around $25 + free car wash. No appointment neccesary. They tend to find too many "problems" with the car though. Overall, I like it.

Painful experience

I purchased a vehicle there about 1 month ago and I spent more than 4 hours negotiating between the seller and then the finance department. Not a pleasant experience at all, they will try to get the max out of you and I imagine some people probably just get railroaded. Once I bought the vehicle, the minimum of what was agreed was what they would help out on.

Let the buyer beware

The buying experience reminds me of "swimming with the sharks." I'd never go back. The service dept is great. I use mary as my advisor and she treats me with honesty & respect..

Changed my Opinion

I gave them a good review in the past. Bought a car from them in Aug. 06. Car was totalled in an accident caused by the other driver. Went back to purchase a replacement made a deal with them on a Saturday. They said they would pay for part of shipping plus pay for a car rental till the car i wanted came in. The following Tuesday I went back in to give a deposit. They would only cover rental for a week and took away the money to cover shipping. They tried to set me up with a car rental place that had only one vehicle available. That one vehicle I would have to switch out the next day, which was completely inconvenient since I have a career to focus on. Tried to get them to give me what they promised and they refused. Will be doing future business with a different Honda dealership.

Bait and Switched

I leased an Odyssey from this company in Dec 03. At the time they sold me an extended warranty that would have covered the car for 72,000. At first I didn't want the warranty, but they leterally wouldn't let me leave the finance department until a deal was made. They came way down in price from $1500 to $300. I eventually decided to buy it. The paperwork I walked out with said 72,000 miles and I have a copy. Today (August 07) I took my car in for a covered repair. We found out that after leaving the dealership, the milage limit was reduced to 50,000. Since we had 57,000 miles on this car, the repair wasn't covered. I am beyond upset. Its hard enough to trust car dealers. Add this incident to the list. My advice, avoid this dealership. If you do buy from them (or Showcase Honda--same owners), be very careful with your paperwork. When I called Bell to get a copy of my paperwork, a very curt woman said that records 4 years old were hard to retrieve. (I bet they are.)

Great car but watch out for the Finance Dept.

Recently purchased a 2007 Odyssey, great car and the experience would have been perfect except for the Finance Dept. Wanted to canx a useless tire insurance policy the next day but was told it's non-cancellable because it's not realy an insurance policy? Be mindfull of the sharks that lerk in the Finace waters at Bell Honda.
