THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR TENANTS. OVER A YEAR SLOW IN MAINTENANCE. THEY LIE AND ONCE YOU ARE MOVED IN THEY ARE DONE WITH YOU AND YOU ARE STUCK IN A LEASE.

I rented from Bellington, and was very excited to live in my apartment. It was my first apartment in the city. However, I soon realized that they do not respond to maintenance calls promptly. For example, my hot water heater was broken, and it took over two weeks to fix it. I had to take either cold showers or shower at a friend's place. They did nothing to compensate me for this.
Secondly, I lived in a one bedroom apartment, and my heating/gas bills were more there than my parent's three bedroom, two story home. They did not replace the windows, or fix the wholes under the door where heat was excaping from.
Lastly, when moving out they slapped me with a huge bill (including taking my deposit money), for a stain that was on the wood floor prior to moving in.
Their employees are rude and they treat their tennants poorly! THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR APARTMENTS/HOMES!
I advise you to consider another company when renting.

We've had problems with Bellington from move-in day and it hasn't stopped since.

Where do I begin?
1. the house wasn't ready to move in (even though they promised it would be), and they didn't clean up their construction mess.
2. the roof leaked and it took months of calling them and many scab roofers later until fixed it.
3. it took many calls for them to pay a bill, while in the meantime we were sucked with late charges.
4. And finally, SQUIRRELS SQUIRRELS SQUIRRELS! These nasty critters dug into the house for months, keeping us up at night. We made many phone calls and sometimes the maintenance guy would come out to do little things, but they never fixed the problem because the problem was too much of an investment to fix. At one point, we saw squirrels looking down at us in our own living room. We called the emergency maintenance number and the guy promised to come back and fix the problem. By this point, we knew it was a total empty promise, and we stopped paying rent.

Learn from our mistakes: DO NOT RENT FROM BELLINGTON.

If you rent from Bellington, stop paying rent and move out as quickly as you can.

This is the first time I have written a review like this. I would avoid this company at all costs. They do purchase homes at a low cost, but they do a craptastic job at fixing them up and making them ready for tenants. My roommate and I have been renting one of their properties for about 6-7 months now and we have not had a very pleasant experience. From the day we moved in, we have had maintenance issues of one kind or another. This is the only company I have rented from that charges the tenants for differnent maintance things like fixing broken door knobs, cleaning the gutters or changing the furnace filter. We have to leave more than one message on their answering machine in order to get someone out to our property. When we moved in, there was construction mess and other things we were told would be moved and cleaned up but that has not happened as of yet. I have been told by one of their employees that they want to spend as little money as possible to fix issues with their properties. Do not rent or purchase from these people.

I think Bellington Realty is an important company to have around. They buy distressed properties and sell them at great prices, or I think, fix some up and rent them out. We need companies that do this. Thanks Bellington, keep it up.

"We worked with Lisa Fox an employee for Michael Litz El Presidente' 4Bellington. We completed a walk-through & etc of the apt which we were eager to rent. Now comes moving day, we show up with a truck & Lisa Fox says they did not get the unit ready in time & promises me another. We check out the other unit because now we have no place to go & the unit is decent but dirty. We move in & 2 months later a Bellington employee named Sarah Capobianco moves above us. All smiles going in, shiny daggers coming out. She'd have company at 3am & after still partying with total disregard for her neighbors. This was all reported to Lisa Fox to which she dismissed as "That doesn't sound like her" Now Sarah flicks me off the next time she sees me, for telling & lets her dog **** in front of our window.In the end we ran when our lease expired & they ended up keeping 1/2 our deposit by fabricating false imperfections with the apartment. I WOULD NOT recommend to my worse enemy. They are HORRIBBLE humans"
