This place is great, whether you're coming to a choreography class to learn a new dance style, or ready to break a sweat in one of the Shimmy Fit workout classes (and if you're taking a class with Marwa, believe me, you'll break a sweat). It's a comfortable environment, very welcoming, and even though I was a beginner, I didn't feel self-conscious or anxious at all. Bring a friend and try it out!

I love this studio!! I have taken classes at all of the studios, so I can say with confidence that all the teachers at Atlanta Bellydance will not dissapoint. I really enjoy Marwa's shimmy fit classes at the Little Five Points studio, she is such a pro and knows how to create a fun and intense workout with great music and energy! I always am so glad I come!

I have been taking classes there since last winter and I am hooked!Jaseena, one of the instructors there, is absolutely wonderful!! She is such a happy, friendly and beautiful person and I really love her. I have taken her 5-week coreography courses on Thursdays and Sundays and had a lot of fun while obtained skills and inner muscles. Jaseena is an amazing dancer/teacher. She is very sympathetic toward absolute beginners and gives thoroughly detailed instruction so that every single person in class can follow. She always asks us if there are some movements which give us hard time and spend extra time for reviews if there is some requests. She provides a great environment in which students can ask questions without hesitation. I also really love all those tips for belly dance techniques which she often calls "Jaseena's secrets." She is super super nice and I am willing to continue dancing with her. I see more smiles of students in her class than any other classes I have taken. I always leave her class being so happy. Her classes make you happier and more attractive.

This place is like a double shot of confidence, self-esteem, and feminity all rolled into one! My best friend convinced me to go and now we are on our 3rd class together. I love it! I feel so feminine when I see my body moving in a way it never has before. My confidence is off the charts ever since I learned the "mya" and my husband doesnt mind it either ;) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I love Nazeem Allayl! I've never been a gym person, but have always been a dancer, so 4 months ago I decided to give bellydance a shot...best decision I could've made. I found muscles I didn't know existed, have learned amazing moves, met great friends, feel beautiful every class, and lost 10 lbs in the process! Doesn't get much better than that.

I have been taking dance all my life: ballet, tap, jazz, and ballroom, and belly dance is my newest interest!! It is a beautiful, feminine form of dance and a different kind of challenge, and I love it! I have taken classes at a couple of different places, but my favorite is Atlanta Belly Dance Nazeem Allayl Studios. The teachers are good, the classes are fun and of wide variety, AND my favorite part is that YOU as a student can perform! This particular studio hosts several different shows a year, and students are allowed (and encouraged) to perform! The studio shows are the big productions of the year, one in spring and one in the fall. These are more formal with scheduled practice dates and pre-selected costumes and you are usually performing in larger groups. The haflas are great - you can do a solo or a small group performance if you want, and your costume is whatever you want it to be, so there is no set outfit you have to wear, and it's cheaper for friends and family to buy in for these too! Plus, if you are wanting to perform but not ready for a major show, the haflas seem to be very relaxed and have a student-filled audience, so everyone cheers for you and is very supportive. I highly recommend checking out the studio and their classes, and then after you've taken a class or two, you can show off your new skills at a show!

Nazeem Allayl studio is the best around. If you want to learn how to bellydance and to do it well, you need to come here. The teachers are the best in the business, both in skill and ability to teach. The environment is friendly and inviting; you won't feel uncomfortable because they don't allow spectators or men! The best part is that you learn to love yourself for who you are while looking and feeling fabulous. =)

Nazeem Allayl Belly Dance Studios really lives up to all the hype. The newest studio in Perimeter is HUGE and has such a great selection of classes to choose from. I have been taking the workout class on Wednesday nights with Schadia (also the owner) and love it!! You get a great workout while doing something fun. I have previously taken one of the choreography class as well and its awesome if you want to learn a whole dance. And if you don't have time to take a full 6-week course, then they are always offering different workshops on Saturdays as well. I recently took a Hula Workshop with Mahtaab and it was such a cute and fun dance to learn! And aside from all these fabulous classes, the shop area has such a great variety of coin sashes and dance apparel, you can't help yourself from picking up a cute outfit (or 2) to wear to class. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to dance while looking great and feeling great!!
I've taken a number of classes at Nazeem Allayl Belly Dance's Windy Hill and Perimeter studios, and have had nothing but the best experiences. Both locations are easy to get to and the studios are beautiful. The Perimeter studio is definitely the biggest, and I love all the mirror space. From the standpoint of someone who has trained in other forms of dance throughout my life, one of the things I love about this studio and the teachers is the attention to good technique. Classes always begin with proper, thorough warm-ups, and solid technique is drilled into you from day 1. The teachers are super professional and knowledgeable about belly dancing, as well as friendly and fun. The beginner classes are equipped to support varying skill levels, so even if you've never belly danced before, you totally belong and will be welcomed!
Belly dance is a great way to not only exercise but to be a girl! I have been to all three studios and all of them are great. I started out at the Windy Hill studio and took classes with Sabeeyah(?), great instructor. Her classes are so much fun! I've also taken classes at Perimeter with Shenez and her classes are also great. She is a great instructor with great attention to detail. I haven't taken any classes YET at the Little Five studio but I have been there and the studio is so charming. Oh, and a 6-wk course is only $50...great value!
Did you know Nazeem Allayl has the best prices per class session in town? Well I do. I'm a graduate student always searching for the best prices of anything in town, and I found Nazeem Allayl four years ago. I was so impressed with the organization of classes/choreographies, the professionality of the teachers, the classy-style belly dance that is taught here, that I have continued to take classes for four years straight. I refuse to go to other studios in Atlanta. The owner of the studio is very knowledgable about Middle Eastern dance. The entire staff is very friendly to customers. And the store is full of cute, girlie, classy belly dance outfits. A+++

The owner (Schadia) of the studio is very knowledgeable about belly dancing and takes it very serious. She knows a lot of her students by name and she is very observant of her students. She may be perceived as a small petit lady, but she has eye balls the size of those big excercise balls. In other words, she can see everything in class. If you are not in proper belly dance stance, she will definately notice and correct you even if you are in the back of the class. That is the sign of a good instructor who cares about proper technique.

Nazeem Allayl's Little Five Points studio has so much character! It's a beautiful space with great lighting. There's also one fully mirrored wall, which is important when dancing so you can see yourself. Astonishingly, there are so-called dance studios that don't have mirrors in them. I don't know how anyone could learn how to dance without a good mirror.

I moved to Atlanta last year and found Nazeem Allayl studios and decided to give it a try. What a surprise! They are so welcoming to all women who come to the studio. And you can choose how much time you want to devote to dance. The drop-in workout classes are great for when you are busy and can't commit to a multiple-week class. They are always available as an exercise option, and you don't have to plan ahead!
