I was a student there in her office. As the people have been saying I don't see much of a problem with the Dr. But the staff is horrible and I would never want to work there. I feel it is GREAT that she wants to have students learn there trade but she really needs someone there that will teach them so that there will not be any mistakes made. I beleive that the Dr has found ways not to have to pay for a staff that works for her. There is no real proffesonalizm there but the doctor. I give it 1 star. Woluld not refer.

I have been going to Dr. BJ for years, and each time I leave I say I will never come back but I always do. I don't understand why she does not get a good staff and stop using students all the time. If you are looking for a good doctor she is the best, just be ready to over look the staff.

While I see disconcerting reviews referencing her staff, my last three visits have been nothing but pleasant. Her front office staff are for the most part together and professional. The back office staff come across to me as caring, polite and all around amicable. Dr. Bennett-Johnson is beyond knowledgable and gets RIGHT DOWN TO BUSINESS... while she works fast she is thorough and all around a great doctor to have as a PCP.

When Dr D gets to you, you often forgive and forget the wait time that you just sat thru, because she is so personal, she really is there with you, not in the next or previous case. I enjoy her conversation with me as well as her willingness to consider alternative sources. She is personable and caring. With all that being said, there have been countless times that I have said I am going to find a new Dr because of her staff. You name it, I have experienced the gamut with them over the years. Most do not greet the patient. Most are into their own conversations. Returning calls is not efficient. Esp. When a patient is having a difficult time. Whether the Dr even gets the message is another thing, I do not know. The turnover is tremendous. I applaud teaching new students, but I think having at least a 'base' that is steady and loyal to Dr D would be benefit her. Now with moving from Lawrenceville to Winder, and my last experience w/staff, I am going to seek another dr. It is not worth driving to Lilburn to deal with her staff no matter how great the Dr is! :(

I've been a patient of Dr. B-J's for several years now. The office does seem to have a problem with employee turnover, but it seems to be improving. Amd the doctor herself is knowledgeable, compassionate and an excellent diagnostician. I think sometimes she occasionally forgets things because she moves so quickly from one thing to another. But -- and I think this is very important -- when she is with you, she is really with you. She listens. All in all, although the staff is often a pain in the neck, the doctor makes up for it.

Like the previous poster wrote, the wait times and the front office staff make for a horrible office visit. The doctor herself is competent and open to discussing alternative treatments. However, I will be looking for another doctor due to the disorganization.

This office is the worst office I have ever been to. The wait time is about 2+ hours in the waiting room alone, that doesn't inclued the exam room waiting. The doctor rushes you and majority of the time forgets to write prescriptions for you. The front office staff is incompetent and you never get a phone call back. You may as well go the the ER if you need an appointment or a prescription refill, you will get in the ER faster than this office. Majority of the time the staff cannot find your medical chart. They can't keep the same staff working, every time I've gone into the office there is a different person working, or I will end up seeing a student for my medical problems, I won't even get to see the doctor. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
