Changed my life, 12/24/2008

Before I met Dr. Berger, I struggled on a daily basis in the workplace. I had a hard time focusing, staying organized and completing tasks. Dr. Berger was able to combine the perfect combination of... therapy and medication that literally made me an instant success at work. In the six years I have seen him, I have gone from making less than 30K a year to almost 100K a year! He has changed my life in a positive way. He is a good man with his patient's best interest at heart. I have sent several freinds to him that were struggling like I once did, and they all agree he has made a huge impact in their lives and provided them with the ability to succeed in their careers. He is the best doctor for ADD and ADHD that I have ever seen in my life!

Good dr, but doesn't take insurance anymore?, 12/09/2007

I saw Dr. Berger for a while and he's great about changing medications quickly if something isn't working (I saw a lot of dr's that took the "wait and see" approach - which can be miserable if you... are prone to allergic reactions). While I do think he has a great way of being with people that can be difficult to work with (as I was), I don't think he is worth the prices his website lists that he is charging. I see another psychiatrist now that doesn't take insurance, she knew which medications I needed to be on right away and she charges somewhat less than he does (though she won't consider a sliding scale, as his site suggests). If Dr. Berger took insurance, I would definitely go back.
