Appreciate the way Bernie explains automotive lingo to make sure I understand. He takes the time to answer my "what-if" questions since I'm trying to maximize my dollar. Not only love how my car runs but the "personal" interaction.

Contrary to others, I have not had good experiences with Bernie. I too went to Bernie's because of the Kudzu reviews - now I wonder if these reviews are legit. With only one exception, Bernie fixed my problem on the first attempt. When I returned to address the problem, I always ended up paying more. For example, I have taken my car in because it stalls out on me. Each time, I am told the problem was fixed. Yet after I drove it! the problem still existed. I've finally given up. It took him two times to fix my A/C, yet each time I paid. More than half of my money has gone to fix items that likely didn't need attention. Nice guy but I wouldn't trust him with more than an oil change.

I had a great experience at Bernie's. I found him on Kudzu. He found the part I needed and we waited until I was able to find a loaner car to complete the service. I dropped the car off on Saturday and picked it up Tuesday morning. His quote was much better than what I had found elsewhere, and he's very nice and patient.

So far I have taken my van and my wife's car to Bernie's. Bernie got both of them fixed that day. One was even on a Saturday. He did great work and gave me a fair price. I have sent two of my friends and recommend this shop to anyone.

Last month I was about to sell my BMW because it's always in the repair shop. But my friend told me to go call Bernie and let him diagnose the problem of my BMW. The wirings were changed by Bernie and there was a loose connection in my engine. AS of today my car is running excellent and I will still keep my BMW. I will never go to a diff repair shop. I've found Bernies Automotive to be very trustworthy, excellent service and reasonable price. I will recommend Bernie to all my friends and relatives. Good Work Bernie and Staff. Keep it UP.

I've had several services with other automotive companies and Bernie's automotive has shown outstanding professionalism and great customer friendly and polite attitude. I am very satisfied with the way he dealt with my auto problems. I will not hesitate recommending Bernie's automotive to anybody.

Bernie is HONEST and does quality work, and now that he moved to a bigger place, he can also do body work. Recently, the front of my car was damaged due to an accident and the hood and bumper needed to be replaced, along with repairs on the engine. I do not know of any body shop and Bernie offered to fix both the body and engine. I must say he did a wonderful job. My car looks new and it runs great.

I've been to so many mechanics that it's worse than going to the dentist sometimes. I have never felt like that since I found Bernie's. They provide GREAT customer service (despite the FEW comments below), pricing isn't the cheapest in town but reasonable (cheap means crap parts and crap service), and I don't feel like I'm getting the run around. They are straight forward and will tell it to you like it is. If you want sugar coating, go to your local dealership and pay 50% more in cost.

I brought my car to Bernie to replace a simple AC hose. (He diagnosed the car as such, as did one other shop). Long story short, he attempted to fix the car 4 times, and each time the car got progressively worse. By the time he was done with my car, I had to pay another shop over $1500 to rebuild my ENTIRE AC system. On top of that, he has been extremely rude during the entire process, even hanging up on me when I called to explain what the other shop told me. That is simply NOT acceptable from a customer service standpoint. If I could give him a negative number of stars as a review, I would. Please save yourself and don't go to him!

I got a nail in my tire and it was losing air rapidly and just needed to be plugged. I actually tried 2 other places first because I was in a rush and they were closer to my house. After much headache over something simple like getting a tire plugged I made it to Bernie's, it was very cheap and very quick. They work fast and work hard, from simple problems like mine to more involved repairs they really are great. I rate them an A++ thanks for saving my @$$!

I've been looking for a good mechanic who I can trust for years. A friend told me about Bernie's and they are great. Saved me money by not having to fix things that other shops said were broken and great customer service. Top Notch!

I went to Bernie's based on these reviews. If there was less than one star, I wouldn't have selected one at all! He was RUDE, EXPENSIVE and PLAIN INSULTING when I wanted a second opinion. He even performed services on my car that I didn't agree too, and then expected me to pay him for it!! If you want a mechanic you can trust--GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Started going to Bernie's after my other mechanic John from Roswell Tire sold his business. Truly trusted John and felt comfortable with Bernie & staff after John said they were great. I've been very pleased so far with them fixing the issues and charging a reasonable price.
