This doctor seems smart, providing some interesting insight into my back pains, and did make things better with a cocktail of prescriptions. But then it went south again, and when I tried to get a follow up appointment, there was a big runaround and eventually I was told "oh then the doctor can't help you" basically telling me they did everything they could. huh? after two or three appointments and a couple of rx? so in short I was dumped by my doctor. do not recommend.

My spouse was using this particular "doctor" for her back pain. She experienced a neurological episode over night and was rushed to the ER. This particular "doctor" was called the next morning to get my spouse in to be examined. This "doctor" refussed to see her and told the assistant he would be back in July 9 and we already had an appointment in August. "Refussed to see his patient" and went on vacation!!!! Think twice and look elsewhere prior to calling this practice!!!!!

Dr. Bernstein is experienced, intuitive, and friendly. No need for white coat anxiety when you've an appt. with him. The amusing art in his waiting room may signal you that your experience won't be scary. You'll be examined by a man who knows people, and is exceptionally well credentialed.

I scheduled an appointment four weeks out as a new patient. I waited patiently, while in pain, to see this doctor. Two days before my appointment, the office called to confirm my appointment, but they had the wrong time. The soonest they could get me in - because of THEIR mistake - was three weeks out. Save your time and energy - there's no office manager, a ghetto staff (at best), and since the doctor chooses his staff, this doesn't speak highly of him, even before you get in the door. Better medical care can be found at your local gas station.

I have had a cervical problem for 25 years. I have been to many specialists in different states. Each one tried different things and all finally suggested surgery. For years I took 3 ibuprofen every three hours just to endure the pain. I was just about to give in and have surgery done when I decided to see one last neurologist. Dr Bernstein is a wonder worker. He told me that surgery would only have made my problem worse. He prescribed some medication and I now have only minor pain. I no longer take any ibprofen. I would highly recommend Dr Bernstein.
