I boarded my dog for the first time at Best Friends a few weeks ago. There was little enthusiasm amongst the 3 or 4 employees that I saw when I dropped him off and picked him up. All of the employees out front seemed very young so it would have been a little more comforting to have seen at least one adult. They gave me a report card for my dog when I picked him up and it just seemed way to perfect if you know what I mean. My dog would not eat for a few days after we got home. I took his own food for them to give him and it almost seemed like they had given him something else because he would look at his normal food and walk away. I'm not saying he was mistreated but I'm not so sure I would take him back unless I had no other option. On a positive note, the place seemed very clean.

This is a horrible chain of doggy day care. Unless you pay various fees to have your dog played with they will stay in their "run" for 24 hours at a time. They also go to the bathroom in their run. I would NEVER take my dogs here!

My White German shepard was attacked by another dog while here, they did not even know about it till my wife picked the dog up and noticed the 2 inch gash on her belly. They said they could not understand how it happened because someone was always with the dogs. Needless to say, I'll never take my dog near the place. They do not do what you pay them to do, and then they will not take responsibilty. This place is horrendous.

I boarded my dog here two times. Last month I was running late and called from the airport when I landed. I told them that I would be there about 10 minutes late and asked if they could wait so I could get my guy. They said they would be there until at least 5:30 (Saturday). I got there at 5:05 pm and the place was locked down. No one was there or answered the telephone. I could not get him until Sunday at 3:00 pm and they had the nerve to charge me for another night. The manager on duty had a terible attitude and basically told me if I didn't like it to go somewhere else. So I did, there is a new place on Buford Highway called Camp Woof. They are friendly, cheaper, and have a great facility. I have not boarded here yet, but I have used them for dog daycare and my boy loves the place.

I left my young dog for a week due to business. We had visited 2 times previous. They say he died of stress - dogs don't die of stress per the vets I have talked to. They are not talking. Body was frozen so autopsy cannot be done. BE CAREFUL BE AWARE!!!
