Love My New Bike!
I was very choosey when I selected a bike. Checked out the Schwinns at Target & WalMart but they paled in comparison to the Raleigh I got at Bike South for just a little more money.Plus, it was fitted just to my size. Not the one-size fits-all variety. My bike had to be ordered, but it was well worth the wait. Michael Roth was knowledgeable and friendly and got me into a bike to fit both my needs and wallet. The service he provided was excellent. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great bike at a reasonable price.

Disappointed
I went in to get my front hub repaired on my MTB and they said they did not have the part and it would be about a week till they could get the part. They said they would call me when the part came in and then i could get could bring it in and they could most likely fix it that day. They called me the end of the next week and told me my part had arrived and to "bring my bike in when i got a chance" I got my bike in the first of next week. They first gave me the part and tried to check me out. I told them, "No, you are suppose to fix it" Then they went looking for my paperwork and couldn't find it. Then they rang up a bill for me, (which was different than discussed before) and told me I needed to pay it. I told them i would pay when the work was done. I called them two days later to ask about the progress of the bike, and they said it would be another THREE days till my bike was done because I had missed my appointment. Wait, What!. No one ever gave me an appointment or even a specific time to be back. I would have been fine waiting a day or two, but don't tell me it's my fault my bike isn't fixed. I have all of my paperwork and NOWHERE does it say anything about a appointment or appointment time. Long story short. I first took my bike in on Sept. 10th. It's Sept. 25th right now and I still don't have my bike back. I will never go back.

surprised
I went to Bicycle South because of the great reviews. I was really surprised to find a shop with 4 young guys standing around, and I was summarily ignored. When I finally did ask a question of the guy at the register, he never looked at me, but continued scribbling on whatever paper he had in front of him - and told me to grab a card, and call the service department. Really, really bad news.

Best in Town
This bike shop was awesome. All of their employees were extremely nice and customer service oriented. They had a great selection of EVERYTHING and best of all - I went in to have the wheels on my Jogger Stroller fixed. They fixed all 3 wheels in less than 10 mins. I was prepared to leave it there and come back another time, but Gregg was like if you've got a few minutes I'll fix it for you right now. How's that for exceeding expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Been there since Bianchi was green
Update 12/07- Hey Chris, Thanks for saving me today. I had a great ride and I did not have buy a fancy new part like I expected. It's good to have a mechanic who will look after you.
I love this shop. They have sold me bikes, fixed those bikes, sold me parts and tools to fix 'em myself and clothes and kits to keep riding.
Now they are working with Emory to create a better sense of cycling in this area. It's so cool that they are not just in the shop but all over Atlanta.
Think Locally and Ride Globally.
Roll if you want to. Roll around the world.
