Big Shanty Smokehouse

Stopped in here on the way to an apppoinment. Order their baked beans and wow they were awesome. The ribs we excellent too. I had to wait for a table, but I guess I know why.

Staff here is always extremely friendly. It's certainly a hole in the wall place that you probably wouldnt stop at unless you knew what was inside.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had and it's always high quality all day long. The sausage is a bit dry (they use rib meat and brisket for it), but pairs really well with their sauce.

There are a couple "fancier" BBQ places nearby, but I'll only ever go to this one from now on.

Delicious food and very friendly. Really enjoy eating there.
Daily specials are the best, and they even offer gluten free items.

Yum! Everything I have tried has been perfect. If that isn't enough, check out what their special homemade dessert of the day is. Baking is also Shannon's niche.

The only place in metro Atlanta where the ribs come close to my own, and I don't have to clean up afterwards. Super friendly folks, eating at home atmosphere, and everything on the menu is worth doing again. One of these days I may even try something besides the ribs. My wife tells me everything else is wonderful, and I've learned to take her word. :o) You just can't beat these folks. Give 'em a try!
