Whenever I am back in Evanston, I stop in at the Blind Faith Cafe. It was easy to be a vegetarian when this restaurant was nearby. The selections are varied, and the desserts are delicious. It can get crowded so plan ahead.

My wife and I are vegetarians and were so happy to have moved blocks away from Blind Faith. IF your idea of tofu is a jiggly gelatinous ball then you will be surprised by all the different meat substitutes and the variety of great food. I personally love the Seitan Barbeque Sandwhich and my wife loves the Seitan Marsala. Even if you eat meat you won't be disappointed! Their desserts could be a little better. They look wonderful, but often the cake has been refrigerated and seems very dry (even the non-vegan cakes.)
