hate to be a dissenter
Just finished a 6 wek agonizing experience with these people. I will describe what we went through, you draw your own conclusions. Took a Hunter Douglas blind to them to repair one of the supporting strings along with a couple of small parts that had fallen off. Got the blind back maybe 10 days later but they lost the parts which we had been careful to tape to the blind. Put the blind back on the window, it looked ok but lo and behold the mechanism to raise and lower the blind no longer worked.(worked fine when we brought it in) Brought it back and now they have to order a part. Week 4 now and the part arrives. Week 5 they admit that they cannot fix it and it has to go back to the factory (they claim to be an authorized service center for Humter Douglas.) Less than a week after they sent it back the repaired blind is back from the factory in perfect condition. Why did it take them 5+ weeks to do what the factory did in less than 5 days. Finally, throughout all this it was abundantly clear that we always took 2nd place behind their commercial clients when it came time to work on our blind despite their position that they would take care of us asap. My suggestion is to save yourself time and aggravation-go somewhere else.

Finally I can use my blinds again!
After calling around to several blind companies trying to find someone to fix my blinds, I looked here on Kudzu. I'm so glad I did! I found the Blind Repairman. They have great service and are very personable and friendly.
I called this morning and they came out this afternoon. That is amazing!
I have a few 2" wood blinds that wouldn't open or raise. Jerry came out and fixed them in my home. How great is that?
I will definitely use them again. Thanks!!

Good service
My colonial-style shutters needed work, and the "kits" sold for do-it-yourself do not match them. They would have been expensive to replace. I was very pleased with the speedy service and the reasonable price. Jerry came out and took the shutters back to the shop, and they were ready when promised. I recommend this company highly.

Great Service
I left a message and got a call back a couple of days later and an apology for not calling back sooner. The owner came by several hours later and fixed the cord on the spot for a lot less than replacing the shade. I was amazed because I had found no one willing to do the repair before contacting the Blind Repairman. I'd definitely use their service again.
