We had custom shutters installed in 2011. We chose this company based on a friend's recommendation. They made great suggestions, took meticulous measurements and returned a month later with our shutters and blinds. They had a problem with one shutter's fit and returned quickly with it corrected. Everything looks great. Their installer, Griz, was very competent and helpful. Five months later, two shutters lost several staples at once. We think our cleaning crew caused it but Griz has said otherwise. Several slats would not operate correctly so we contacted the company. Initially they took a hard-nosed attitude. They told us there was a $75 charge to come see what could be done. They also said that if the cleaning crew did anything to break the shutters, our warranty would not cover their damage. The warranty only covers damage by us! Yet we were not given a copy of that warranty when the shutters were installed. Eventually, we scheduled Griz for a service call. He is very nice and knowledgeable. Griz determined our problems were caused by the manufacturer and not anyone else. He checked all shutters and I was completely satisfied with his work. Overall, we are very happy with the final products. We feel Griz is a real asset to the company. The owners' customer service attitudes could use improvement in our view. We would use this company again and recommend them to others mainly because of the quality of the installation and repair work.
