Three weeks after Monique's visit concerning a VPL installation, I received her phone call that she wouldn't be able to complete any project, as "they were too busy". In the mean time I am finalizing an installation with another firm that is more than willing to do business with us.
Another service provider told me our chair lift needed a new motor, said that it would be nearly impossible to find one, charged me $160 and left. I called Blue Moose for a second opinion. Their serviceman came exactly when scheduled and fixed our lift without even needing any parts. Great Service! Great Price! Great Company!
We bought a stair lift on-line and were not advised that we needed a permit and installation by an elevator company. Thank goodness that we found Blue Moose. They inspected our stair lift, corrected the problems- which included a dangerous seat defect, got it permitted and have us back up and running safely!
We purchased a chair from Blue Moose about 3 to 4 months ago. We left the house yesterday and the lift worked fine. Got home and it would not move. Called Blue Moose left a message. Brian called back and talked to my husband told him he would talk to his guys and see what they were doing and call back. Three hours later no call. We call back and after having to get upset on the call they come at 5:30PM. Circuit board burned out. Was told they would be back today between 9:30 and 10 no show no call. Called back again to be told they have other things to do and would be over later today. Called the owner Monique over an hour ago no call back. STAY AWAY!
I called this company over a week ago to schedule a repair on my Wheel-O-Vator. They told me they would have someone out by the end of this week but no one ever called me to schedule the exact time. I called them back on yesterday and the assistant had the nerve to ask me why I wanted to get my Wheel-O-Vator repaired after waiting so long to fix it and that they would TRY and fit me in. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am taking my business and my money elsewhere.
My lift chair was squeaking loudly.American Elevator charged me $150 for a service call. Walked in the door, told me I needed a new chair for $4000.00 and left. Wanting a second opinion I called Blue Moose. Monique Sawyer inspected the chair, greased it, showed me how to grease it,wouldn't take any money and left. How could you not use this company? Completely trustworthy.
I've had the pleasure of working with Monique Swyer of Blue Moose Elevators for the past 5 years. This is the only company I will use for a stairlift, vertical lift, or residential elevator. Not only do I know first-hand that the qualify of the products will be excellent, but Monique and her staff will go out of their way to assure their clients are fully satisfied. The pricing is extremely fair and the time they take with clients is exceptional, making sure clients and family members are comfortable using accessibility products they're providing. I will continue to use Blue Moose Elevators for any future accessibility needs!
When we were looking at the options for how best to make our front door wheelchair accessible, our contractor put us in touch with Monique at Blue Moose and we are so glad to have had her expertise and help. Monique came out to the house twice and talked through all of our options. She was very knowledgeable and gave great advice. She patiently helped us weigh the pros and cons of lifts (stair lift, incline lift, elevator lift) versus ramps (temporary or permanent). Ultimately we decided to install a ramp rather than one of Blue Moose's array of lifts but Monique was fantastic to work with and I recommend her highly for those with mobility needs.
Blue Moose is more than an elevator company. They are a mobility service. They made sure my chairlift was at the right height for me to be most independent and later helped me find a leg-lifter apparatus to assist with getting my weak leg on the chairlift. I love my chairlift and I love working with Blue Moose. Check them out- you won't be disappointed- you can come to my house for a free test ride. A very happy customer in East Cobb Co.
The UPS battery needed to be replaced and it was time for maintenance. I had been hesitant in calling back two companies we'd used previously because I just didn't feel they did a thorough job. Blue Moose showed up when they said they would and they did a great job. The serviceman was very professional and friendly and took the time to answer my questions. Great service at very good prices. I will be using them again and will recommend them to friends.
From the first phone call Blue Moose was outstanding. They helped us find the best product for my parent's stair dilemma, offering us lots of options. On top of that they gave us the best price by far for the elevator we finally decided on. Shortly after ordering the elevator my dad had to have open heart surgery. We had production and shipping delays from the elevator manufacturer, and Monique bent over backwards to correct their mistakes and get the elevator in before my dad's arrival home...unbelievable service. Can't recommend them enough.
After sifting through at least 5 different vendors to work on my home elevator system(almost all of them tried to either rip me off or overcharge in various ways), I found Blue Moose. They are honest, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Ask for Brian.
