Installation issues! They installed 7 appliances for us and 5 of them had installation issues. When I contacted Bob Bailey’s about each individual problem, all they did was place warranty service calls with the manufacturers. Then I had to wait a couple weeks just to get on the service companies schedule. Instead, Bob Bailey’s should have come back out to correct the install problem. Basically, they installed our products, got the full payment check and then washed their hands of us. Not the customer service I would expect from a company that has been around this long. Not to mention I spent a small fortune on all of these products! Disappointing! I would NOT recommend having them install anything! :(

We are sorry that this customer is not satisfied with the service our company provided. However, the claims in this review that our company did nothing to try to resolve their issues is completely false. Our head installer, who has been with our company for other 30 years did the installation and went back on several occasions, even a Saturday which is his day off to try to address this customer's concerns. There was an issue with the panels on the refrigerator, but those were supplied by the cabinet company and not ready at the time we installed the appliances. There was also an issue with the performance of a few of the appliances that were addressed by the warranty service of the manufacturers. All the issues have been addressed and through we did our best to satisfy this customer and take care of their issues, we have come to the conclusion that it is not possible.
Great to have a fast server, but it's useless to have to email for a price on every item I'm looking at, doh: the web is supposed to save me the trouble of driving 16 miles to your showroom...yep, it's great to do classic 'customer research' by setting cookies galore, trying to grab customer emails (to put them on un-asked for mailing lists?) and otherwise pursue the hard-sell, but why would I even begin to think of shopping here if the company appears non-competitive. Yep, not showing prices means they are likely not a competitive seller, and do not want to be compared to other vendors with better pricing. When you buy an appliance, what else is there to compare: drop-shipping record? Number of dent sales? Whether you feel at home when you visit? While we are at it, why not have the web-page search order default to sort by Lowest Price, and show the maxiumum number of items you care to (12, 24, -36-) by default. It's the same DB lookup, just more trouble for web-visitors to re-set it on each item searched, adding up to more user frustration. A lot of businesses have already got this right: the theory is that when you present a series of small frustrations to users, and combine this with higher prices (or NO prices) perhaps they will shop elsewhere and you can get back to your bridge game or whatever.... Cheez and crackers....

I needed to purchase a ventahood for my kitchen renovation. Robert Bailey spent a lot of time with us helping us to decide on whether we need to order a custom duct cover or standard size. After we had the hood installed and the electrical was hooked up, we found the motor on one of the blowers needed replacing. Someone from Bob Bailey's would call to make sure someone from repair contacted us. A vendor came out to look at the blower and discovered it needed a new motor but they were delayed in getting back with us about delivery. Bob Bailey's called after the appointment and told me to call if them back the venfor did not get back in touch with me. I called the store this morning to let them know the vendor didn't call back. Before I knew it, in less than 2 hours someone called and asked if they could come out and replaced the motor. A+ for customer service...it doesn't end after the sale. Based on my experience, I would definitely purchase from the again and recommend them.

I've tried so hard to like this company. They are borderline rude and not very helpful though. When you enter their showroom, it's almost like you are a problem to them and never a "welcoming" atmosphere. We've ordered a kitchen full of appliances and recently purchased another item from them. They don't know about their products but even worse...don't really attempt to even find the answer for you. I'm disappointed. Come on Bob Bailey's! You have so much potential to be an awesome store!

Bob Bailey's beat the local box store price, the sales person I worked with was very knowledgeable, the installation staff was professional and the end result is a beautiful new kitchen!! My experience was great from start to finish. If you're in the market for a new kitchen or even just one appliance give them a call and let them show you why it was worth it!

I have counted on Bob Bailey’s numerous times both personally and for clients of mine. In a tough business with great competition, they work hard to keep my clients happy, deliver a great product as quickly as possible, handle back end phone calls & provide the customer service that I know first hand other establishments do not. I have no issues recommending Bob Bailey’s to future clients, and I know I will use their products and services when I need them for my next home.

We purchased a JennAir Oven & Microwave Oven from Bob Bailey’s Your Home Appliance Experts. We were replacing a 22yr old Combination Oven & Microwave. Their Appliance Experts talked us into purchasing separate pieces as a matching set. They could save us a lot of money. The day the ovens were installed we found they DID NOT MATCH. We voiced to installer, ‘they do not match”. We immediately went to Bob Bailey’s and let them know they were not a matching set as viewed in their showroom. They installed completely different products than we were led to believe we were buying. We were directed to take the matter up with JennAir. We hear from JennAir that they are not sold as a matching set as they DO NOT MATCH, but are compatible, coordinating. We spent over $3000.00 for MISMATCHED Oven and Microwave. Bailey's (owner) is willing to sell the brand new mismatched ovens on consignment and we can purchase something different. What a RIPOFF from the store that has this big Christian sign displayed in front of their business. Bob Bailey’s Your Home Appliance Experts, Misrepresented the product that was sold to us and is not willing to make it right. We filed a report with BBB and Bailey's response was not truthful. Beware!! August, 2011.

We are sorry to see that this customer thinks we have misrepresented the products we sell. We did not sell the customer mismatched products or different products than what the customer special ordered as is claimed. The only difference in what the customer saw on the showroom floor and what was installed in their kitchen was the color. We have the stainless steel on our floor and the customer ordered those exact same appliances in white. When the customer brought to our attention her disatisfaction with the asthetics of her purchase we did offered her several solutions to try to make her happy. Unfortunately the customer refused all our attempts. Since it was a special order and their was nothing wrong with how the units functioned, we were not able to take the appliances back. The customer also brought the issue up with JennAir and they too were unable to satisfy her because there was nothing wrong with what we sold her. We've been in the Atlanta area for 49 years and would not still be around if we treated our customers as is indicated in this review. We invite you to come talk to our salespeople and find out for yourself that we are indeed experts in the field of home appliances and our goal is to have satisfied customers who will come back the next time they need an appliance.
I decided to pay more with Bob Baileys thinking I would get good service. Installation was horrible, they damaged my floor and delivered dented appliances. Refused to take them back. Took 3 weeks of constant calls to get them finally to replace defective parts. Finally threatened to get an attorney. The manager Steve has no customrer skills at all.

We're sorry that this person was not happy with our service. We offer a low price guarantee so you don't pay more at our store, but we do offer customer service you can't get at a box store. When the appliances were delivered there was a dent in the dishwasher panel and an issue with the icemaker in the refrigerator. The manufacturer warranty covers problems with appliances, but their procedure is to have service assess the product before they will authorize a swap out. This person did not want to follow this procedure and was upset that we could not swap them out immediately. We did the best we could to fix the issues as quickly as possible and the issues were all handled. A new dishwasher panel was ordered the same day the dishwasher was delivered and when the part came in the panel was replaced.(Parts take 7-10 business days unless they are on backorder.) A service call was also placed the same day the appliances were delivered and when service was able to determine the icemaker was not repairable we swapped out the refrigerator for the customer within 10 days. (The refrigerator was not a piece we had in stock and had to be ordered.) All these issues were resolved with the customer within 10 days and we had the panel ordered and a service call set up the same day the products were delivered. Note: The person who wrote this review did not actually purchase anything from our store. Her relative is actually our customer and she was never involved until the delivery because he was out of town. He was understanding with the procedure for getting the appliances fixed and did not seem to have a problem with our service.
We needed a new oven. It was great to talk to people who knew what they were talking about, matched the price of big store, could get the appliance in a fourth the time as the big box store with less installation fee and had their own people to install it. They called five minutes before they were scheduled to be here, came on time, and did the job well! Recommend them to everyone.

I went to Bob Bailey's in search of a new dishwasher. Rather than selling me the first thing on the floor, they offered to come to my house free of charge to tell me what the problem was. Their suggested fix worked and my dishwasher works like new. They could have easily sold me a new dishwasher but choose customer service first. I will buy all my appliances from them from now on and tell all my friends to do the same.

If you are shopping for a large appliance and want to talk with people who really know things about them, Bob Bailey's is the place along US78. We recently purchased our new washer and drier from Bob Bailey's. There were so many choices at so many stores we just couldn't decide until we spoke to these folks. We will go there for our next purchase.
