My husband and I had the worst customer service experience of our lives at Bodyplex after we signed up for personal training. For $200 a month plus monthly membership fees ($60), we were promised hour long weekly training sessions, regular progress checks (weigh-ins and measurements) and nutritional counseling. For approximately five months we received the hour long training sessions. After a month-long break we were unable to contact our trainer to resume our sessions, so we contacted management to explain the situation. We also mentioned that we were unhappy about problems rescheduling missed training sessions and that we had received no progress-checks or nutritional counseling. Management blamed the problems on the Head Trainer, who they had fired. The new Head Trainer, Adam Arnett, insisted on meeting in person to discuss the problems, but was unable to meet with us for several weeks, during which time we were billed again. When we were finally able to meet with Adam to discuss the training issues he agreed to cancel our contract and let us make up the missed sessions (three months), but never gave us the contact information for the new trainer. When we contacted him again about the fact that we had no contact information for the new trainer the response we received was so rude that we canceled our membership and contacted the corporate office. We spoke to part-owner Linda Smith, who spoke with us briefly about the problems but never followed-up.

Bodyplex is the best gym around! I recently joined here after my membership expired at the LA Fitness by my work. I can tell you first hand this place is awesome & I wish I would have joined here to begin with!! They have reasonable rates & don't try to pressure you. They also have a wide variety of machines, offer really great classes, & they keep the place very clean.
