Dr. Steelman and her staff provide the most caring and personal care to all their feline patients. They make each one feel special. I drive by her office morning, noon and night and always see her car. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else.

While I do agree with the other reviewers about the doctor being an excellent doctor; I do need to address the fact that the customer service here has continued on a downward spiral. I've been going to this doctor for quite some time now and I must say I'm very disappointed in how she's let things become. They are understaffed and they also take on way too many clients at once. So if you believe it will be easy to get a hold of them, think again. I usually have to keep calling every so often to get a hold of someone because when you leave a message they don't bother calling you back. While her pricing is very good; I believe this also leads to said problems above. The last time I was in there I had to sit around for hours and hours before I was even seen (yes, I did have an appointment, which is what made this fact worse). The lady at the front desk got yelled at for being cruel and not taking in a cat that had just been hit by a car. It was very muggy and depressing in there as well. I saw some sick cats roaming around and one had a coughing fit while I was sitting there waiting to be called in. Not to say I don't admire her for doing such a noble thing, but there just has to be a certain balance which I feel is lacking. While I would love to give this place 4 or 5 stars; I just can't until she fixes the mess that she's let it become. I really hope things do improve because I would love to start going back there again, but until that happens I'm going to stick with the score I'm giving now.

I can't stress enough how great this vets office is. Dr.Steelman is amazing. As a child, we took my cat to the vet at her office to get her routine check ups. Now as an adult, my cat is much older and needs a little bit more care. She was diagnosed with diabetes and it was a bit scary. Dr. Steelman explained to me in detail how to help my cat. My old cat now runs around and plays like she is a kitten again. The prices are also extremely low recession or not. The staff is very nice and they even take in strays and nurse them back to health.There really is no other care like Dr. Steelman's when it comes to cats

Dr. Steelman is fabulous, and it's nice to see a vet who is not ONLY in it to to make money, but who truly cares for her patients. She is so knowledgeable about cats, and as such, I am very comfortable with 99.9% of her diagnoses.

I have tried several vets for my cats over the years, and you will never convince me that there is one better than Dr. Steelman. First off, She is a true cat lover, as is the entire staff. Most vets, regardless of talent, get as many animals through as possible, and charge insane amounts for all kinds of tests that your pets don't usually need. Dr. Steelman takes as much time as is needed for every patient, she seems to practically live at the office. Her follow up calls are so thorough. For those that complain she is hard to get a hold of, maybe it is because she is actually caring for 100 cats in addition to all her patients, and giving so many patients the same care and service she gives me. If your vet is sitting by the phone waiting for your call, they probably are not that great of a vet! If you love your cat, this is the vet you want!
