I took my 3yr old son to the doc and he was rude & cold. He spent less than 5 minutes with us. But did manage in that time to be sure to order my son into the exam chair and tell me his comfort toy was annoying. He didn't ask anything about past history or about what was going on, he didn't want me to talk and cut me off when I started to offer details. Then, after looking at my little boy's eyes for about 2 seconds, he gave me a diagnosis of a 'tic' and ushered me out the door. No technical info given, no discussion. He dismissed us. I will never go back and urge anyone looking to either hold out for someone else in the practice or to find another practice all together. I should have looked at other reviews. There are several out there confirming my findings. Several parents have concluded that he has terrible people skills. I can't imagine how things would have gone if my son had not been so happy and cooperative.

What a friendly group of people! They are efficient and focused on making this a positive experience for you. Their facility is top notch and so is the team of eye care professionals.

We have used Dr. Bordenca for about 4 years. He is great with the kids and gives parents sound advice. From the waiting room, I have seen him interact with other children and parents and is always very caring and kind. He is very punctual, which is definitely not the norm these days. Highly recommend.

We see Dr. B. several times a year because of a particular condition that requires monitoring. He is on the quiet side but professional and knowledgable and I have full confidence that we are getting very good care. Staff are nice, office space is good. We use the Marietta office.
