Boutte Tree Inc

Boutte came to my house to provide me with an estimate. They were to email it to me that same night. Never got the estimate. Called to follow-up and was told someone would call me back with the estimate. Never got a call back much less an estimate. Boutte will never get my business and certainly never get a referral from me.

We contacted Boutte Tree to help us with two sickly trees in our yard. They came out, diagnosed the issue and developed a plan to try to save the trees. They are prompt, courteous, and offer concise, professional opinions. They also do exactly what they say they will do when they say it will be done. We have been very pleased with their services and will continue to use them for all of our tree needs.

I hired Boutte to prune a tree that was leaning considerably over a cottage on a rental property. I sent them a photograph of the tree in question, leaving absolutely no room for error. I gave them very specific instructions about the tree location, the way to access it, gave them the phone number of the neighbor to gain access to her driveway for the removal (the only possible way to reach the tree). They ignored all of my instructions and failed to give the photograph to the estimator and for $750.00, they worked on the wrong tree. I signed a contract that I believed was written based on all of the detailed information that I'd given them, including the photograph of the tree in question. Unaware to me, the document that I signed was not based on any of that information. If the contract had begun with, "Ignoring all of the details and information that you provided us, we are asking you to sign the following contract" I would have never signed it. When I protested, they threatened a lien on the property until the bill was paid. If I didn't live on the west coast, I would have filed a lawsuit against them. Instead, I paid 50% of the invoice and sought another company to do the work that I'd contracted them to do. I thought that their bid, being the highest of the four that I'd received, meant a greater level of professionalism. I was grossly mistaken....

this was the 3rdm or 4th time we've used them which should speak for itself. They've done everything from taking down trees to helping save a huge beautiful oak by installing some gadget (for lack of better term) which saved us thousands of dollars. Tierson is extremely knowledgeable and talented in his ability to visual how to beautify a yard with the addition or pruning of trees. His staff is courteous, efficient, and very qualified which is what you want when they are hundreds of feet off the ground. The value and expertise they bring is far better than companies we considered before discovering them.

I contracted with Boutte Tree to remove a large, dead pine tree. Advance consultation with arborist was informative and useful with regard to this and other trees in my yard. Price was reasonable. Work was done promptly. Crew was courteous and worked efficiently. Overall, I was very pleased with the work they did and would use their service again.
