I cannot say enough good things about Bow Wags...Tina and her staff truly are amazing. It's so hard to leave your little fur baby for the day, or for an extended time when out of town...but the Bow Wags staff REALLY eases the stress. My dog LOVES going there, and when I pull out his Bow Wags bag, he goes crazy.

You will not be disappointed. Stop by for a visit and see for yourself. They are very friendly, facility is spotless and most of all, your dog will love it. Much smaller than some of the other options out there.

Our 2 year old poodle goes to Bow Wags once a week and she loves it. When we tell her that it's a "camp" day, she goes straight to the door to leave. Tina, the owner, is awesome and clearly loves all of the dogs. I can't recommend Bow Wags enough.

Used Bow Wags for the first time. LOVE it! Our 2 girls needed a groom and Jen did a great job! We actually thought that 1 of the girls would need a complete shave but somehow, Jen worked her magic... The staff was off the chain awesome! Our girls are probably more rotten now because they were snuggled with while waiting to be groomed! It was VERY obvious that everyone loves working with the animals! We'll be back!

I echo Mandy's review. I don't know what is going on with Bow Wags as I also had been caring my dog to this establishment for grooming for a couple of years and all was well until the last time. It appears that Bow Wags is letting none responsible teenagers run the business at times and I'm not sure that they are paying close attention to the operations. Perhaps, they are playing when they should be working. The last time I carried my dog he came back all cut up and the owner indicated that his cuts were moles. The moles have since healed thank God. If you do carry your pet I would suggest that you make sure that a responsible adult is on duty or you may be very disappointed when you return to pick you your pet. Pet owner BEWARE.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment. If you'd like to call me, I'd be happy to discuss the details of what happened during your appointment. You've mentioned nothing in your review about your dogs name or of your name so I'm unable to address any specifics. Look forward to you reaching out and letting us know what the specific issues you were concerned with. God Bless-
The owner is very unprofessional. I had been taking my dog for grooming for almost 2 years. When I picked up my dog from grooming this past time he came back very lethargic and not acting like himself. He would not even play with a new toy. When I called and talked to the owner about this the following Monday, she got very angry with me and said she had nothing for me and hung up the phone on me. This is not how he usually acts when I picked him up. This place has gone down hill and I would never trust to leave my dog there again. Trust me go somewhere else.

I had a very bad experience with the grooming at this facility. I carried my dog and ask for one thing and he came back shaved. Even more he was cut up in his face. The excuse was that he had a mat on his leg and there was nothing that could be done. I know this was not the case as he is combed on a weekly basis. Also, the groomer cut his nose up and said that he already had the cut on his nose which I know was not the case. Beware carrying your beloved pet to this establishment. I will not be back.

Hi there. I'm very sorry you were dissatisfied with your grooming experience at Bow Wags today. Please understand that when your dog comes in matted as it was today, we have no other option than to cut him down below these mats. Please also remember that it's never a good idea to bath your dog when it's matted as it only makes matters worse. We have hundreds of happy customers that come from miles around for Jennifer to cut their dogs, many of them have posted here. As for the "cut", if you look closely you will notice that is a mole, not a cut, and this was on your dog Sebastian when he came in today. We are very sorry that you were displeased, but hopefully in the future you can prevent some of these issues with daily brushing, we recommend a smooth wire brush. We encourage anyone reading this to come in for a tour of the facility and meet me and my groomer Jennifer, I promise you will not be disappointed. There's only so much we can do when a dog comes in heavily matted as this one was. God Bless- Tina
Take it from me and the 1 year I've been taking my dog to Bow Wags that this is the only place to take your dog for a haircut! Very friendly, clean, professional. I have no complaints. Jennifer is very kind and patient. You will love this place!

In preparation of a family vacation, we needed a place to board our 3 dogs. In the past, we have used a pet sitter, but wanted something more engaging. What a treasure BOW WAGS is!! Because we have 2 large dogs, a temperment test was necessary to see how well the dogs would respond to the new environment. To be perfectly honest, I was a bit cautious about the business, wondering if they could attend to and love my dogs like I would. My anxiety was laid to rest when I received a text message during their initial stay as to how much fun they were having and the friends they were making! Our vacation will be sweeter knowing that our four-legged children will be experiencing their own vacation!! Thanks Bow Wags!!

We discovered Bow Wags this past January and have brought our black lab Cosmo back for boarding and overnight play-stays numerous times. They are great with her and Cosmo gets super excited when we drive up. We live in Grant Park and have no problem making the drive to Bow Wags!
My picky basset hound doesn't like everyone, but he LOVES everyone and everything at Bow Wags! We board him here whenever we go on vacation and before we drop him off he can see the building and starts getting excited! He always is a happy camper after his stay! They do great grooming too!
When we first got our puppy we knew that we wanted to find a good doggy daycare and boarding place. After visiting several other daycares, we went to Bow Wags. Tina, the owner, walked us around and answered all of our questions. We've been taking our pup to daycare once a week ever since and she absolutely LOVES it - she gets extremely excited when we put on her collar as she knows where she is going. When we board her the staff take pictures so we know she is having fun. I can't recommend this daycare enough!
My wife and I recently went on a 7 day vacation and I must say the preparation was bitter sweet. Although we were excited for a break, we hated to part with our 2 boxers, Maggie and Buster. We searched and searched and took several "tours" of different facilities claiming to be the "best". I can assure you, your search stops here. The staff was incredibly friendly, the facility was beyond clean and the care that my 2 dogs were given is way beyond expectations. Thanks so much Bow Wags. Its nice to know we have a place to take our dogs without having to worry any longer.
