Bow Wow Beauty Shoppe

I know they were voted #1 in San Diego for grooming by GLT and there is a definite reason for that! They are absolutely wonderful with pets - they groomed my Boston Terriers and were so patient as they squirmed around. They have the cutest puppy clothes at a reasonable price, they are animal lovers and give back to the community in their spare time. The owner is very gracious and helpful with questions and offers perks to return clients. The salon is cute, clean and there is always something new going on there. The doggy hotel is so cute and although you can't see it from the front our Boxer LOVES the play area in the back - fully enclosed and room to run. I would recommend them any day!

I am so in love with this place!! The Employees are so much fun! I have a long haired cat and a maltese. They gave my cat the greatest Lion Cut I've ever seen and I know it wasnt easy. As for my maltese who is definately a DIVA, and doesnt like being groomed, she came out amazing! Picture perfect! I would never dare go anywhere else now that I found Bow Wow Beauty Shoppe! Thank you for bringing back my faith in groomers!

I recently went on vacation and left my two little boys at Bow Wow Beauty Shoppe Hotel for 10 days! I could tell that they loved it because they did not want to leave when I picked them up! The accomodations are outstanding and unlike any other kennel I've ever been to! You can tell how much they love the animals because they took a long time asking/answering my questions about how their stay would be! They also got groomed while I was away and looked amazing when I picked them up! I would recommend Bow Wow Beauty Shoppe to everyone! Once you go thereyou won't want to go anywhere else!...

When I called, the person on the phone was overly nice. When I brought my dog in, this lady was so rude, I thought to myself, "I hope this isn't the owner, otherwise I would think she would be mad at how this person is talking to customers." Horrible customer service, and rude beyond words! Fortunately, I did not leave my dog there to be groomedwhat would she take out on my dog???? Would not recommend at all!

IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY BELOW: There is NO excuse to treat someone so badly as you did. You had a VERY bad attitude from the start. That's the reason I would NOT ever come back to you - not because of the reasons you stated below. Hopefully you change your ways!...

As a customer of Bow Wow and a friend to owner Miss Michelle, I have to say this place is one of the best grooming shops you will ever experience.
Walking into the store you'll notice right away how different it is from other groomers. It has a classy salon feel--it's not just a place with a steel tub and a hose your pets get pampered!
The shop is adorable with its pink, black and white 50s decor. Miss Michelle and her staff are super friendly--always greeting clients with smiles and giggles, it's apparent how much love they have for animals. In addition to their welcoming demeanor, they are also professional and detail-oriented, wanting to make sure your pet gets all of its special needs taken care of. And the animals are treated so well--my dog got a blueberry facial and I can't even remember the last time I had a facial!
Some people get hung up on the fact the shop requires proof that your pet is up to date on its vaccinations but I find this to be a real comfort. It's nice to know that your pet will be groomed in a safe and clean environment.
Miss Michelle is a very talented groomer and a saavy businesswoman. I have been amazed with what she has been able to do in the space and look forward to everything she does in the future. Bow Wow is a very special asset to the Hillcrest community....
