Just avereage - went for a typical brake job (Ford Explorer with 40k miles). They inspected the brakes, milled the rotors, but didn't change out the pads...weird, right? They claimed that they had life left in them, and that I should come back in 3000 miles for a follow-up inspection. What a crock! The pads are the cheapest component - just change them already! Very long wait (got their at 10am and couldn't pick up my truck until 6pm) and more expensive than the competition.
