Brakes Plus® was founded with the premise that customers wanted an honest and dependable place to take their vehicles. The plus was no accident; we specialize in brakes, plus many other auto services.
They installed new pads and rotors and a week later they were making a horrible, loud grinding noise and couldn't even stop the car at idle speeds. They eventually sent someone to our house to look at it and apparently, they put one of the rotors on backwards. Come on, really?! They fixed it, but it certainly was not worth all the hassle, and I don't trust them enough to use them again.

We had always taken our vehicles here, but the last time was a nightmare. They installed new brakes and when I left and brought back the car, they said that I chose the cheap brakes. I was only offered one type and would have gladly paid the extra $25 to upgrade. We are not cheap when it comes to our safety. They said too bad and that we have to live with squeaky brakes because we are cheap. SHOCKING!!

In converse to the other review, my experience was not favorable. I took my car to this business 3 times. They were always trying to sell me something else (like a new air filter when I had literally replaced it less than a month prior), which I thought was just salesmanship until a service they convinced me I must have ruined my transmission (what I am told from the guy who I paid to rebuild it) and I had to have a portion of brake system replaced because they didn't install correctly and it wore out unevenly until it was ruined. The good thing (which I had to push for) was that they do honor their "lifetime" parts--I got $30 credit for my brake pads when the ill-constructed system wrecked them. I will never go back, but to their credit the person at the front is always pleasant.
