Avoid!, 1/23/2008

I confirmed to reserve lanes at the bowling alley a week in advance. I was not told I needed a reservation, . I called the day of the event to confirm our reservations. Once our party arrived, we... ended up waiting in line for over an hour despite the fact that we reservations. I requested to speak to a manager on several occasions and did not get any assistance from one. The cashier had a bad attitude, did not apologize for the wait time, or offer any money back/free games. The cashier also tried to spread our party out among different lanes from the ones that we had reserved and when we explained that we were all together, she stated that we should have told her that and got an attitude with us for not doing so. I told her that we needed to be on the same lanes, some incentives, something for the trouble we had gone through and she said sarcastically, ""How about thank you?""\r\rFurthermore, I left my contact information for the owner and the GM, neither of whom called me back. When I called the owner, the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful, refused to hear my complaint, continually talked over me, and when I attempted to explain my concerns, she told me to bowl elsewhere and disconnected the call on me. During the course of the conversation she also stated that this would not have happened if we had paid a deposit, however I was never informed that a deposit was needed and when I explained this to her she kept saying it was my fault anyway. She also said that it's NOT unusual to have that long of a wait time at their bowling alley (beware if you have children!!!)\r\rAlso, a member in our party was unable to play for his third game that he paid for, however they would not give him his money back and assigned someone to his lane before he even finished his second game (basically they got paid twice).\r\rTo make matters worse, the bowling alley did not appear well-maintained. I would not recommend this bowling alley to anyone in the Cincinnati area. \r\r
